For someone getting into the manga or anime scenery, this is a series that I believe they'd especially love. It has come off as beginner friendly for those just starting out.

Kohei Horikoshi has done an excellent job of creating new and creative plots throughout the series. The way the story has been written, it doesn't fall apart. Something I believe plagued the later arcs in the series is the repetitiveness. During the build-up towards and during the Soul Society Invasion arc, I felt that the pacing of the plot and the leveling up of characters were made quite well, and I really enjoyed reading it! The humor was especially spot-on. Though as the story progressed I started to see that some story aspects were being repeated. Yes, it is an entertaining manga, but it felt pretty fatiguing coming back to the series after having taken a break from it.
