Accidentally one of the most relatable representation of ADHD I’ve ever seen. The anime is obvious just a comedy that doesn’t mention the disorder or anything, but just the way Seki-Kun behaves is incredibly relatable, even if it’s often over exaggerated for comedic effect. It’s not him being lazy, In fact it’s quite the opposite as he puts mountains of effort into his own over the top projects. He’s just unwilling or unable to direct his focus towards what’s important.

Very different tone and direction compared to the Anime & Movie, if you're expecting the same depth and artistic flavour that the original anime has you will be disappointed. However, this Manga is just fun. It's an enjoyable read, seeing the different takes on the characters and a differing plot was fascinating.
Haruka Shitow doesn't have the same level of depth as the anime but is much funnier. One thing I found annoying about this Manga is the sheer level of "fan service" in it. But honestly, I feel like that about a lot of Anime/Manga nowadays, it isn't for me but some straight male weeb ... Jun 28, 2023

Didn't have a massive cultural impact on anime for no reason. This is, IMO, the best Anime that was ever made. I've rewatched this series almost five times and it never fails to make its impact. I recognize that this anime probably won't hit the same for everyone and that my own experiences with mental health were a big factor in my enjoyment, but I still recommend this Anime as a must-watch for any Anime fan. Especially if you deal with mental health issues.
All of the characters feel very real, especially as the story progresses. I wouldn't go in expecting classic archetypes, or badass characters, ... |
