It's been a while since I've seen School Days but I always liked Sekai's character. Like, she does some terrible things, but that's the point, in my opinion it makes her a more interesting character. Her personality prior to everything going to shit was appealing too.

Your Beastars review is far too hysterical. Racemixing is evil. Beastars had a surprisingly level-headed and pragmatic take on interspecies relationships, instead of going the usual idealistic and overly naive anime route.

"Family Guy cutaway flashbacks" is a pretty funny yet spot-on way to describe Sousou no Frieren's constant flashbacks. Also "Madhoussy" as a term... fascinating.

I just happened to come across your School Days review and I absolutely loved reading it, I pretty much share your thoughts on the show and the characters. It's refreshing not only to see a School Days fan but one who doesn't like Kotonoha, too! Sekai and Otome are my faves, I support women's wrongs 🤣
