What happened to this show? The first 2 seasons were pretty good, you knew what was going on, why people were doing things and the arcs felt fleshed out. Season 3? "Naw bro, you gotta read the books to enjoy the show." NO! That's not how it's supposed to work, the viewer needs to know what is going on while readers get to enjoy nuance and animated fight scenes they imagined.
This season is a waste of time. I hate what they've done. I hate that I've wasted 6 hours on it and I hate that they'll probably ruin Railgun too.

This show is about a boy who goes to a school cause he got into one little fight. At this school are girls who rule over the male students. Our male MC doesn't conform and has to fight. That's the story.
I'm not sure what the show was going for but if it was mediocrity, nailed it. Story:3. There wasn't a story beyond the synopses. If you've seen one battle harem you've seen this one and it's the bottom of the barrel. Art:5. Meh. Sound:5. It has audio. Nothing exciting. Characters:2. They are as shallow as you can get. This is a story all about how a guy with a foot fetish starting making shoes for ladies in his neighborhood.....again.
Story was actually pretty good with some decent MC growth and funny situations. You even get to learn a bit about feet. Which, is cool I guess. Story got axed in the most rushed fashion you can imagine, even Jason Vorhees would be impressed. But up till that point it's pretty decent with some conflicts and challenges for our MC. Characters are drawn well and actually look different from one another (something I appreciate more and more as some characters in manga now are ...

Since a 3rd season is as likely as me seeing a human walk on Mars I decided to read the novel. I do not regret this choice but it was a hard series to get through at points.
Now I'll make this clear, I DID NOT read the yen press version. If I did, maybe my enjoyment would have been higher but I sailed the seas for it instead. The story is what you'd expect having watched the anime. Holo and Kraft travel, make deals, get screwed, get unscrewed and move along. All in the hopes of Kraft starting his own shop and Holo going ...

This is a flash back story showing how the snake girl was manipulated into assisting the villain of season 2.
There's not much substance here and really if you've watched season 2 there's no reason to watch this. The art was alright, some of the shots that were up close looked like how a background character would be drawn. Sound was... soundy. Lots of talking, not much else. What can be said about the characters? Snake girl is a tsundere, staff guy is straightforward and evil teacher is a manipulator. No real character development or revelations to be had. Did I enjoy it? Meh, not ...

This show could have been something good. It had everything that made Attack on Titan good in the mix but it got the proportions wrong. It's like using baking soda when baking powder is needed.
There was a decent world built, with decent characters that could have been expanded and evolved. The possibility of a good villain that no one knew about what available. Instead you got a decent world that ended up amounting to "This is how it is and A:We like this world, let's protect it. B: We should destroy this world and everyone in it for reasons!".
