In both worlds, humanity is struggling and barely managing against a great threat that are capable of wiping them out. Not much is known about either threats. Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) is medieval like and has humanity trapped in a city defending against the giants/titans. Knight Run on the other hand has advance technologies, but they also use swords. It's also set on a MUCH larger scale. Instead of a city, it's more like planets and space, with planets like the walls and regions. Like the titans, there are different kinds and some that are cunning and dangerous. Unlike the titans, these enemies can wipe out all life, not just humans. Plenty of deaths and actions. Prepare to have your feelings messed around. Both stories will show you what true despair really is.

Highly recommend Kubera and Claymore. If you like one, you definitely need to read the other. Similar dark fantasy medieval world with killer monsters/demons. The main character is another girl setting out for revenge against a strong monster who took away everything. Both starts out weak but eventually grows stronger as the story progresses, possibly becoming one of the strongest. Meets plenty of friends/comrades and powerful enemies. There's also a bit of romance. Plenty of action and a good story. The art is great, especially later on. (Kubera is fully colored) Claymore starts out not that great with generic weak guy following strong girl, but the author eventually changes that and the story starts to improve.
