For an anime having literally almost 1000 episodes and still ongoing to be enjoyable, I don't even know what I can say. This anime is literal gold, I have never seen anything like it and everything about it is just amazing. Well, except the timeskip.

STORY - 10:
Gol D. Roger, the King of the Pirates obtained this and everything else the world had to offer, and his last dying words drove countless souls to the sea. ''You want my treasure? ... You can have it! I left everything in one place! Now you just have to find it! - Gol D. Roger.'' Those words that the Pirate King spoke, started an era. An era that would change the world as we knew it. 20 years later, Monkey D. Luffy, a 17 year old who ate the cursed ''Devil Fruit'' which gives amazing powers but the disability to swim, has a love for adventure, and strives to become a pirate because of his inspiration, a pirate named Shanks. Shanks taught Luffy everything, and even sacrificed his arm for Luffy when he was a young child. Young Luffy then realised the dangers of the sea, and Shanks gave him his trademark Straw Hat and made a promise to Luffy so he could bring it back when Luffy becomes a great pirate. Heading back to the present, Luffy sets off in a mini-boat, and encounters new friends, powerful foes with the powers of the Devil Fruit, amazing islands and becomes stronger along with his crew-mates to find the legendary treasure left behind by the Pirate King... The ONE PIECE!

ART - 6:
For the first 500 episodes, One Piece's art was incredible, despite the animation (movements) were little to average. Despite that, I believe the character designs are extremely creative and that Oda was thinking right when drawing them, not saying it's bad but I believe it's not as good as other anime I've seen.

SOUND - 10:
Oh god, the music of One Piece is amazing. It just captures every moment, from the struggles, the sadness, the pain, the danger, the fun, you can feel how it is for the character's. Honestly, if One Piece had another soundtrack, it just wouldn't match the sense of adventure it is.

CHARACTER - 10:
I don't even need to say anything for this, watch the anime yourself. Each and every one of them are something else.

ENJOYMENT - 10:
The first 516 episodes were one of the best episodes I've seen for any series I've seen in a long time.
