If you want a comedy based around the gym, you've got one. The jokes will land well enough amongst their intended audience and if you wanted an excuse via anime to visit the gym this is enough justification.
Subjectively: I enjoyed watching the anime. There were a few low points; however it was good for an anime comedy. The characters are typical types you could imagine. As per usual, for this type of anime there's no real plot advancement, as it'd break the character setups for the jokes. Nothing too special, they get the job done however. You like cheap tears? As with author's previous work, Angel Beats you'll get it. This anime goes rapidly goes towards a sob story ending, pulling a few rapid gut punches with the intent to get a few emotional rises from the viewer. That's about it, if you want a few quick tears you'll get it here.

Overall this anime delivers this by delivering us the story about a heavily censored sexual media of all forms through characters who fit into a respective role. You can find the provocative but actually easily embarrassed character, the healthily adjusted, educated character who accepts society standards, and the sexually deprived who has the drive of a nymph. The art delivers well you can say the sound delivery drips with anticipation.
