Both of these manga have a master/servant in the front in center. Also both the master and servant are pretty remarkable. There is also the old English feeling and the sense of dark political secrets and a hint of the mystical. Art style is also similar. Kuro Shitsuji has a smidge more humor and Godchild has more gore.
