These two series actually have very little similarities. However, if you are looking for great dialogue, these two have it. Both are great series to soak up every word the characters have to say. If you want words and not action (well, maybe a little action) then watch these!

If you liked Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou add

...then you might like Highschool of the Dead add

Fan service! These two series are full of it. Ichiban Ushiro is far more comedic than Highschool of the Dead. But if you enjoyed the ridiculous, over the top boobs and panties in HSotD, the wacky ecchi humor of Ichiban Ushiro may be just right for you.

If you liked Fruits Basket add

...then you might like Love Hina add

Technically, the two shows are quite different. I thought that they were most alike with their humor. There's quite alot of quirky slapstick comedy mixed in with a bit of drama and romance (mostly with the supporting characters in Fruits Basket). I found both shows very enjoyable and extremely easy to watch.
