You know what I like in my animated music video? ANIMATION. Too bad there isn't much here. Nothing like still images and reused bits of hardly mobile animation to capture my visual attention.
Story, pshaw. Put some vaguely sad looking images up on screen and that ought to cover it, right?
Also, I like supercell, but this song is kinda bland. Yes, sad pop music is sad. Cool. Now, put some effort into it next time!

If you want an actually good animated music video, might I recommend On Your Mark, a Hayao Miyazaki directed animated music video. It's certainly the best out of this format.

Tonpei to Sarukichi is a trainwreck of the most beautiful kind. Sure, it's old and janky, characters float in and out of the story at random, the show's plot points happen nigh on randomly, and it's overall pretty incomprehensible, but it has a sort of archaic charm to it reminiscent of the old Walt Disney cartoons. You feel like the creators were really trying their hardest to make a fun story with a good message for the kiddies. They failed...dismally...but gosh darn it, they tried!
