Very much the same mood. Involves killing, problem solving and the internal thoughts of some characters with pretty unfortunate pasts.

Someone recommended Parallel for Ane Doki, so I'll recommend Pastel. Well this is by the same mangaka - and this is the more successful work. It also has romance between a boy and a girl of the same age living in a house together. It's definitely a more developed version of Parallel, so give this a try if you're willing to try Parallel. This is rather lenghty though, but stick through for the 90 chapters, you might get bored, but don't give up until you've broken through 90 chapters! As for Pastel fans? Ane Doki! is definitely going to be enjoyable for you. Wonderful art, very fun read too.

College? 2 girls, but one main interest throughout? Drama everywhere (that's associated with bad timing, confusion and indecisiveness)? That sounds familiar...

Confusion, confusion, confusion. This is what these seinen romances are about, they're both loaded with heaps of it. Sleeping with women to ease pain, it's a trademark cliche, and they both have it. If you like one, you'll surely like the other - though Hetakoi seems to be an easier, more light read; the story doesn't seem as heavy.

An otherwise plain guy is surrounded by many beautiful women which he sleeps with. Not an insincere man, but an overly kind man, due to his lack of guts and his genuine love for the women which surround him, he hurts everyone. The cycle merely repeats with different women as the cycle goes on. This sound familiar to you? The other manga is the same, just a slight change of setting/age etc.

Both feature 3 likable heroines. Though the mixture of personalities is different, you'll definitely find a preference in one of them. Both start off fairly slowly, but have a magic in them where characters begin to grow on you as you read on through the story, and before you know it - you'll be entirely immersed. If you get sick of one, at least try soldier through 25 chapters worth before dropping it (because that's where Ichigo 100% began to pick up, I dunno when Umi no Misaki got interesting for me, just did).

Both feature men which completely believe in their powers, so much that it's gotten to their heads and they're full of arrogance. Funnily enough, they barely get the beat down they deserve and lay wreck to all their opponents. If you're looking for a break from the stereotypical "wimpy personality yet insanely strong fighter" type of hero, these two should be both on your list.

Seinen romances in general tend to have a darker, more emotionally torturing effect on their heroes. Bad timing, misunderstandings, indecisiveness - it's generally what makes a seinen romance. The heroes enter deep depression, they vent their frustrations through lust - it's what makes a man. In these aspects, these two mangas are very alike. Though Haru yo, Koi is definitely more sex charged - the drama you'll find seeping out of these is generally something you'll crave for.

Both very similar manga. Both contain their fair share of humor and action. We also have a hero who're in love with the heroine and are basically dragged around with them. Different settings, different personalities surrounding the hero and heroine, but basically the same feel deep down.

I could of easily recommended any of Mizuki Kawashita's mangas in relation to Countrouble, but this fit best. Though Hatsukoi Limited details many different love stories - they're all quite weird in the fact all them have characters suffering from innocent troubles. You can't help but smile watching characters pull through hardships so no matter which one you read first - you should enjoy the other. You might also notice Yamamoto Misaki and Yoshizawa Akino look quite similar, so that might get you hooked quite quickly.

Amagami features a Kuudere, whilst on the other hand Rinko Days features a Tsundere. Yes, that leaves one thing in common! The dere-dere! When you rip open that chest of insecurities, and rummage through all those troubles, you're left with a kind, affectionate, oh so lovable cute little girl inside. Though the girls are different, you'll get the same sort of feeling reading these two mangas as these girls depend on their heroes to deal with their hardships. Surely, if you enjoy one, you'll enjoy the other.

Do you like pointless, shallow drama that will inevitably just leave you back in square one - with no plot development whatsoever? Do you like it when that hero is so dense it's stupid? Do you like it when that heroine is the ideal girl but she just keeps getting the short end of the rope just because of that idiot she likes? Well my friends, Pastel/Open Sesame is for you! Get frustrated today reading about stupid indecisive boys and girls with complimenting art that completely misses the par of a good shounen romance like Ichigo 100%. Try, try, try!

If you love one you love the other, I cannot emphasize enough how similar these two mangas are. Both have their upsides, Aya and Yuu are such loveable characters Manaka and Mugi are so easy to relate to. If you love your romances with some ecchi to spice it up then you've come to the right place. Pastel's romance I must say is A LOT better though, whereas Ichigo 100% tends to have a deeper drama. The real down side in Pastel however is that it tends to drag out alot, so you've been warned. I recommend reading Pastel until chapter 87.
