A warning before you give Henshin (AKA Emergence or Metamorphosis) a read, it is R-18 of course, but also really depressing.
(side note the overall rating is rounded up from my actual score).
I'll start with the story, while the story is really depressing it had a very realistic feel (like it could and probably has actually happened) which gave me a very strong sense of immersion and added to the sympathy I felt for the protagonist (I'll talk more about that later). the sex scenes felt like they supported the story rather than being the main element, and the plot devices felt like they had meaning

and thought behind them. for the story, I give Hensin a 9/10.
Next, let's talk about the art, the first thing about Henshin that caught my eyes was the art, it looked fantastic and professional. the character had expressive faces that fit their personalities and clearly show what a character was feeling. the female characters had very slender and elegant bodies with more realistic smaller busts which fit my tastes, however, most of the male character where visually repulsive but that added emphasis to the situations the protagonist was experiencing. the last note to touch on is the sex expressions, Henshin uses mind break/drug style of ahegao. with that being said I'll give the art an 8/10
now time for the Characters, I'll start by quoting the author Shindo L "I wanted Henshin to be about seeing the charm of a girl who is going through genuine misfortune" and throughout the story, I only cared about the protagonist Saki. Saki was the only character that had understandable aspirations and clear problems, while all the other characters were villains that were written to be unrelatable and easy to hate, which focused all my sympathy towards Saki. with this said I'll give the characters a 7/10
as for Enjoyment I very much enjoyed Henshin, once I started reading I couldn't stop and read it all in a night. I even bought a physical copy for my collection of manga and light novels then started to reread it. while the story is depressing and might not be for everyone I really love Henshin and I plan on looking into more of Shindo L's work. for enjoyment, I give Henshin a 10/10
Finally, we've arrived at the overall portion of the review, so let's average the scores. Henshin is very good, and I enjoyed every minute of it, so I give it an 8.5/10.

the story mainly recovers the trailers with added detail, the site I read the manga at actually has 15 chapters, and chapters 10-15 are the only chapters that add to the story. with that said I very much enjoyed the added detail into the trailer recap, as well as the extra story the manga add, while I may be bias since I'm quiet a RWBY fan I'm giving the story 8 (I'd also suggest reading the chapter MAL doesn't list). the art was pretty good and I enjoyed seeing characters I had only seen as 3D models in a 2D Anime/Manga art style so
...
again an 8. the characters where pretty accurately portrayed and further developed so I'll give them a 8. finally I very much enjoyed this manga so I'll give it a 10 leading to an overall 9. If you're a RWBY fan you'll most likely enjoy this manga, if you're not I'd suggest watching the first 2 volumes before picking this manga up.

I feel kinda awkward reviewing hentai but I liked this one too much not to. I'll start off with the story. when it comes to hentai the story isn't that important, and I feel like the studio that produced this hentai had that in mind, I found Mankitsu Happening's plot is simple, yet interesting enough to keep me watching, for a hentai I'd give it a 7. Next, the art is very good for a hentai, it has a modern generic anime style, which would normally be a complaint if it were an anime, but since it's a hentai I'll give it another 7. on

to the sound, I found it very good, it did what it was supposed to, without getting annoying or into the ear rape territory, so I'll give the sound an 8. the characters while not very developed in the sense of aspiration, were all very likeable, which is unusual for me no matter if its anime or hentai, so I'll give the characters a 7. finally I thoroughly enjoyed this hentai, especially since there was no rape and had ahegao, so I'll give it a 10. overall I found this hentai very good, so I'd rate it an 8. if you like vanilla, ahegao, and hate rape hentai I'd suggest this one, it's definitely one of my favorites.
