***THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS***
Let me start off by saying that I had very high expectations coming into this show, and even though you may think this had an effect on my score, any person with a brain cell would be able to tell how completely garbage this show was. First of all, the plot was random and unorganized. Each episode had a random plot that was conveniently resolved and only the ramen one was good. This repetitive theme would’ve been boring and unoriginal as it was however, there seemed to be a common plot to win the love of best girl for the first six

episodes. It was randomly interrupted because the mc suddenly found feelings for the “god”. This spun the plot of the show in a 180. From a basic show where the mc helps people solve his problems to a rescue mission to save the girl he “loved”, yet showed no emotion for until episode 5-6. Additionally, Izanami randomly declared her feelings of love for him several episodes later, which came out of nowhere, made no sense, and had no purpose or effect on the plot. They totally rushed and ruined her character, which otherwise could’ve had a heartfelt and emotional development. Speaking of ruined characters, allow me to present my second least favorite part about this show, the side characters. Also the side characters. There are plenty of side characters in the show and although they originally had depth and individuality, they became less and less unique until they were just props. Changed from characters with their own struggles and emotions into mindless puppets who solely exist to agree, compliment, or accompany the main character. Several characters were placed into generic attitudes commonly seen in side characters to make them seem “funny or quirky”. Somehow they failed to fulfill their mundane role due to the lack of character enforced by the author. Even though the main character escaped the hive mind of the supporting cast, it’s not like he was any better. He acted shallow and stupid, unable to comprehend anything going on and seemed to be counterproductive to his goals. How difficult is it not to yell at a disabled girl and make her cry “on accident” roughly 15 fucking times??? How is he meaning to get into a good school when he is dumber than Luffy, and has less common sense than Goku. Although he had to rescue Hina from a facility for disabled people, I think he should’ve been in the facility instead. Lastly, The sadness factor. The show was supposedly supposed to be “sadder than Angel beats and clanaad or something” according to the author, which is probably why it seemed so forced. The author forced every cliche imaginable upon the show which made it utter trash. I expected Angel Beats level of sadness, so when he tried to play sad music at the end like he did in angel beats it really pissed me off. Overall, I hated nearly every moment of this utterly trash disappointment of a show and would rate it 2/10 max.
