Hyouka has that sentimental mellow feeling. And as someone who came really late into watching it lives up to those expectations. It's always described as something that isn't quite mystery and something not quite romance. But Hyouka is a show about curiosity and fulfilling that curiosity. And at the end it leaves us with that feeling. Want to learn more about this world.
The story is made up of different events and places. Each and every ark revolves around Chitanda fulfilling that curiosity and how it incorporates the characters like Oreki piecing the mystery together.
After watching it for the first time. The art holds up

amazingly. Each background and every landscape look amazing and doesn't distract from the narrative of the show.
The soundtrack is so memorable. Every episode has those cute and pleasant background music and it really brings in the best of vibes.
Every Character has their purpose and the main cast is very memorable and iconic. From the glowing curiosity to Chitanda to the quiet and reserved Oreki.
I really did love the show. Everything that is said lives up to the hype and I can't think of a more fitting first review. I really can't wait to read the novel after I finish up this review because I just want more and that really peaks my curiosity.
Overall if you haven't watch the show it is a must watch for anime lovers and by far the best atmospheric show I've watched.
