Ironically, this title seems like quite a step down for Collaboration Works.

One thing that you could always rely on in Collaboration Works hentai was solid presentation. Yet in this title the animation seems much weaker. While the character designs are still cute and good looking, they feel a bit uninspired. The use of real-life backgrounds particularly sticks out like a sore thumb, it's quite interesting, but it just doesn't fit. Even the voice acting is rather forgettable.

The story in this one is very much a direct copy of Eroge! Going that far, that they used a very similar title. The main difference being that our ... main protagonist gets hired in manga company instead of game one. Otherwise, he still has to show the girls the sex experience so they can work on manga better. It goes well with the focus of the anime though.

The characters didn't leave any real impression on me. The only girls I liked were Nao who had only one short scene that was interrupted and twintails girl which didn't have any so far.

Let's just compare these first two episodes to Eroge! In the first episode of Eroge we got a real sense of build up as our protagonist gets to her, but this hentai just jumps over the place with little focus. First we get a random blowjob from co-worker, then some scenes with main girl, some involving sex toys and S&M. In the end she also gets anal scene in the bathroom (fortunately with no scat). In the middle there are also some scenes with Nao (best girl by far), my favourite one is when she reads naughty manga to the protagonist and he cums on her. She only gets one real short scene which unfortunately gets interrupted as the other girl sees the protagonist doing it with her. After that the girls obviously gets angry and the episode rewinds, showing the "good" route.

The second episode is even worse, mainly because it recycles the entire intro of first episode, which resembles a visual novel as the protagonist introduces himself and chooses his route. I was not a fan of the new girl either, her scenes were decent, but not amazing.
In comparison, second episode of Eroge had 3 scenes with 3 different girls and each one of them felt great.

But don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed this hentai to some degree despite being quite underwhelming. But that's mainly due to older CW titles being much better than this. This is still way above the industry standard and I recommend watching this title if you want some basic vanilla with some toys.
I really hope the twintails girl gets her dedicated episode next.

While I definitely enjoyed this hentai a lot, it ended up frustrating me a little bit.

In terms of presentation, the series keeps up with Collaboration Works' high standard. The studio did a really good job transferring the VN art which was not particularly great into animation. All scenes are pretty well animated, though there is some obvious looping.
There are also many ahegao faces, so if you don't like those you won't enjoy this as much.
Also, as you'd expect from Collab Works title, there are several not very subtle references to other works by the same game company, such as posters and cameo appearances. ... Some of them were even made by a different studio.

The story is pretty simple vanilla stuff. We have a guy called Keiichi who possesses some kind of mysterious ability. He manages to seduce and bang every girl he meets, which got him into trouble and fired from every previous job. Now he works at a manga cafe and really hopes not to get fired this time. But as expected, he gets into various awkward situations again.

One thing that I didn't expect from this anime was that there were several genuinely funny moments. You just don't see these often. I'm obviously not gonna spoil them, but the particularly hilarious moment was the one in first episode where the protagonist trips over in the bathroom and gets a blowjob from Rei.

The characters are also simple, but varied enough. I wasn't a huge fan of Kururu, I am just allergic to girls that shout the phrase "ONIIIII-CHAN!" and her scenes were by far the weakest.
Rei on the other hand was simply great, if your fetishes are MILFs, anal and milking, she will fulfil all of them. I am not a particular fan of these, but the hilarious scenes combined with her stoic personality made her the standout character.
But my favourite character by far was the idol Otona, not only because I personally found her the hottest, but because her introduction where she tried to chase the protagonist was hilarious.

In my opinion, the second episode might be one of the greatest hentai episodes ever. In the first half the hot blonde idol shows up and gets some action and in the second half we get a massive orgy which involves anal, breast sucking, double blowjob and more. I watched that episode at least 10 times already.

But the series is not without its problems, the next 2 episodes are significantly weaker, the third one just contains several stealthy scenes including one in the cupboard and more anal sex.
And the 4th one is just pointless, a new girl get introduced that owns a bigger manga shop, but her scenes were really mediocre and she doesn't even have sex with the protagonist.
These episodes were definitely rushed since they came out only a month apart from each other.

In case they announce another episode, I really hope we get more funny moments and awesome group scenes.

But despite the problems, I rate this OVA very highly and consider it the best vanilla hentai of the year with Lovely x Cation.

Collaboration Works is my favourite H studio and I enjoyed all their titles to some extent, but Please Rape Me is easily their weakest work.

While the art and animation quality is way above the industry average with well-made character designs, the same cannot be said about the story.

The story in this anime is just extremely stupid and so is the protagonist.
We have a guy who is obsessed with rape and always walks over a dangerous park where many girls get raped. And because he is stupid he just watches them getting raped and doesn't try to help them. One day he finds an unconscious loli ... there. He is about to rape her, but because he is stupid, he jizzes over her instead. But fortunately, the loli is dumb too and instead of accusing him or beating him up our protagonist, she just forces him to use his apartment. She then tells him she has psychic power and knows which girls have a "rape fetish" and the protagonist eats that bullshit up without questioning.
Oh, and obviously the protagonist never has sex with the loli (he does in VN though).

The first episode contains only a single sex scene and that one is with a childhood friend. It feels very anticlimactic, because it's obvious the girl likes him and she obviously gets really sad after getting raped.

The second episode was definitely better as there were actually TWO scenes and they were paced in a much beter way and that is the reason why I'm giving this OVA a positive score.

Also, this hentai is apparently tagged as comedy, but I didn't find it very funny.

While this review may sound negative, I enjoyed this hentai despite extreme stupidity and only 3 sex scenes. The girls themselves were pretty interesting.

So as my first MAL review, I thought it would make sense to review my favourite H anime of all time.

As far as presentation goes, the art is very high quality for hentai production as expected from studio Collaboration Works, all girls are very pretty yet different looking. It definitely doesn't pale in comparison to the VN.
While the animation is not particularly amazing as you'd expect, it's definitely serviceable and there are no notable errors.

There's not much to talk about sound wise apart from a cheesy ending song. All voice actors do their roles really well. It's worth noting that the seiyuu who voices pink ... haired loli Kotori also voices Rin from Little Busters and Makina from Grisaia series and her stereotypical high pitched noice can get a bit annoying.

The biggest downside of the OVA however is the story since it's pretty basic but kinda dumb. There's a guy who is a big womanizer and dates 5 girls at once, (your typical harem). In the first 2 episodes we get introduced to all his girls and he eventually is forced to marry one of them, but he obviously doesn't want to because he can't decide between them. All of that concludes in a pretty amusing albeit predictable way at the end of second episode. In third one the girls fight over him and the 4th one is a beach episode.

While the story is not very engaging (and it doesn't need to be, this is hentai, come on), the characters are great and each has their quirk which appeals to different fetishes. There's a loli, a MILF, a shy schoolgirl with glasses, a rich girl that's into S&M and a plain girl, which is oddly my favourite one.

But the main reason why this is my favourite hentai over other titles is simple - consistency, unlike other titles that had great first 1-2 episodes and then went downhill, this managed to keep solid quality during its whole run, every episode was satisfying and fun to watch. I've probably returned to this series more than any other.

So in conclusion, this is a fantastic series that everyone who wants simple vanilla hentai without NTR or rape should watch as soon as possible.
