SPY x FAMILY as per episode is just pushing the right buttons for me.
I consider it a family slice of life & Comedy anime with a background of a spy story.
There is enough comedy and the character's personality and skills and interactions just make it fun and enjoyable for me. The theme for the spy background is a refreshing take from the typical school life slice of life.
Each of the 3 main family members has enough over-exaggerated interactions and the esper skill for Anya is just a smart move to connect each of them.
Overall 8/10
Overall, I'm enjoying the anime. I highly recommend this anime
...
for anyone who just wants a slow-paced wholesome slice of life anime outside of the typical school theme.

Here is my review of this anime in 2022!
A fine story about a genius prince that is able to think out of the box but lazy to be involved in work. This anime more often talks about the strategy of how to find a win-win solution for each party and learn to view things from the perspective of others.
Art (7)
The art is just good typical animation
Sound (8)
The music for OP and ED are decent with good OP showing the characters and not spoiling the overall story.
...
Character (6)
The main characters are memorable. However, Takahashu Rie did not get to express herself as much with the Ralei, Ninym.
Enjoyment (9)
It's enjoyable to watch this anime!
Overall, the pace and storyline are good. Some good character personality showcase but the main female characer Ralei, Ninym is a bit lack luster for Takahashu Rie. The rest of the cast are mostly like a shadow background characters.
The ending is a bit questionable.

Kanata no Astra is really an underdog anime in that season.
Enjoyment 9/10
I really enjoyed watching the anime. The episode 1-4 helps to set the background story of each main character can be boring but once you get through that the story starts to get interesting. I highly recommend this anime to everyone. This anime could easy be a 10 for me if either the music or any character becomes my favourite but it came really close.
Story 10/10
I do not know of other anime that involves lost in space + space exploration + conspiracy as it central theme. So I might be biased when I
...
say this genre really caught my attention. Despite being only 12 episodes the anime manages to incorporate various elements like space travel, survival, camaraderie, human cloning, wrap gates, biology into the story. It is not easy to include multiple elements in a story and not be overwhelming. I agree the elements may not have been perfectly integrated but I have to agree that the transition and flow between each element are quite smooth, base on many anime standards.
Art & Sound 9/10
I think the Art and music for the OP and ED really suit the theme for exploration, trials and jubilation very well. Most ED is specific to the events that occurred in each episode. The only reason music is not a 10 is because none of them was my favourite music but I think it is a good fit for this anime.
Character is 8/10
Probably the lowest in the score. Most of the mains tend to have a similar back story of adoption or single family, that is why a lot of the character reasoning tends to be similar. However, the similarity in thought process helps then to related to each other circumstances. For example, Luca could sympathize with Ulgar middle of the anime that Marco was not a good guy and could very well be involved with Finn death. Finally, maybe because the anime is a short 12 episodes, the growth of 8 MC except Funcia seems to be very quick but there are elements of growth. Some addition plot points like marriage and romance were added as secondary points and did not overshadow the main space and conspiracy theme.

Majo's Journey is about a young prodigy in magic who became a witch to get approval from her parents to travel the world. The story is basically how the main character Elaina travel in the magical world and interaction with people and things she interacts with.
Story-wise 6/10
There really isn't any overall narrative storyline. The MC Elaina is mainly there as a human guide who shows and explore the magical world with us. She is no hero no villain, just an observer. This background, the world the actual story.
Art 8/10
I think this is a very nice and clear art design for world creation. To
...
show us how the beauty and ugliness of the make-believe world.
Character 6/10
Other than Elaina and Flan, the rest of the cast does not leave me with much of an impact. Some of the people in the story does not make sense as well. Episode 1 when Elaina pass sorcery exam and became the youngest apprentice witch, all the witches in the town shunt her and slams their door to her. For what out of jealously? On the other hand, I believe in the real world think more people will prefer to mentor Elaina instead to hope to build a connection with a prodigy who may become famous in the future. I also dun really understand why Flan will wait for 1 month testing Elaina before a magic duel. Does Flan need 1 month to torment a 14 year- old girl before teaching someone? Maybe that is true in the western world, but in the Asian world, I doubt that anyone will waste someone's time for a month.
Currently, other than Elaina, most of the characters are not going to reappear or reappearing at a later episode. No much to say for character growth or development.
The rest the sound and enjoyment are 6/10. The music is just average but I like the op animation to show the diverse world that is yet to come. No really attach to any character and do not really find the story engaging, just disjointed story and novelty here and there. Honestly, I think this anime has the potential to be a casual read to watch if you are not expecting anything fast pace, action, or comedy. I describe it as a sandbox anime just for exploration in a make-belave world.

Overall this is a 10/10 for me. I found my waifu Sarashina Ruka. She is not MC but she has won me over.
There are lots of different opinions on this series. You will hear some people say the show is fantastic while others will say it's garbage.
Story 9/10
I have read a bit of the manga. So will not say too much to avoid spoilers. For general statement, I'll say as the story gradually gets better with more development of the male MC Kazuya how he matures. There will be further development with Kazuya and the other female protagonist and deuteragonists.
Kanojo, Okarishimasu or Rent-a-Girlfriend is
...
a show in which makes you hate and dislike the characters but slowly start to understand and see their reasoning and behaviour. It's a show in which you need patience to watch. You might want to stop watching it because of the cringe but simply can't because of your curiosity of what comes next. This story/manga is 100% a masterpiece on it's own in weird Harem & ecchii genre. But at the same time it's a slice of life, Romance, comedy as well.
Art 9/10
I personally find the art of the surrounding very average. What thoroughly stands out for me is the detail given for Sarashina Ruka and the Chizuru Mizuhara clothing. For me the clothing and fashion sense really makes or break the female characters. Despite the short 12 episodes anime and 25 chapters in the manga, there has been sufficient change in clothing for the characters and yet not reduce their flair.
Sound 8/10
Mainly given for the opening and ending song. The opening song centimeter by Peggies is a good pop-rock genre for the anime. Peggies is very next in the anime scene but I'm sure we will hear more from them in future anime. The ending for the anime Kokukahu Bungee Jumping Halca is very typical but still very up beating. For the Ruka's Arc at episode 7 she even gets her own ending scene despite only appearing in 2 episodes.
Character 10/10
This is where this anime really shines. There is a lot of though put in the development of characters and how they fit in the story.
Appearance is pretty much what i have mentioned at ART. really like the artist's sense of fashion for both and male MC and the females characters. Well he based his designs on female fashion magazines.
Mami -Chan, who most people will easily hate are actually relatable to people who I have met and unfortunately dated.
Ruka is my waifu definitely, with her design, fashion and curves. Her personality can be pushy, possessive, fiery, teased a lot but she is also very determine, willing to chase and put effort to get what she wants without being scheming like Mami (bitch). I think it is because of her determination in love, favourite color blue +plus that blue ribbon, the very nice turtle neck sweater and turquoise dress with big brown coat at 12 and her voice won my heart. Her voice actor is Nao Touyama who also voice Kanon Nakagawa from (the world that only god knows), Chitoge (Nisekoi) . Kazuya, how is Ruka - chan not good enough for you? She is good enough for me and is mine.
Finally, Chizuru Mizuhara, the MC is well-written, I personally start to respect her more and more by her way of thinking and maturity.
Enjoyment 8/10
Probably because of the music opening and ending. I actually approve the fact that the manga did not hide the fact that he mastur**** and show the plain fact of what a hormone raging Kazuya Kinoshita a virgin will do.

The story is nothing special. Just the usual MC and his friends go save the world.
The best part about this anime is that the graphic and animation.
Likes: the great graphic drawing and design which is similar to Final Fantasy IX and give that vibe. Really remind me of the good old days. playing FF.
Dislike: The story is 3/10. The director really needs to plan the storyline better rather than the problem appear and solve. Similar story to Shaman King
Graphic and world-building 10/10
Breathtaking. the great graphic drawing and design which is similar to Final Fantasy IX and give that vibe. Really remind me
...
of the good old days. playing FF.
Music 10/10
Tales of Zestiria the X contains a number of different soundtracks, many of which are remixes of tracks in the game. However, they all seem to fit the mood well.
The ending is 6/10. When the MC comes back alive with a bit of Bro Love.
I Will recommend a quick watch for the music and graphic.
