ACCA was a nice change of pace from the usual. It was slow, but interesting. You can chill and watch, but if you chill too much, you might miss out on all the little details.
7/10 story:
Story isn't complex or anything, but it still keeps you guessing. You at times wonder where the story is going and who to trust and who not to trust. What is this guy planning? What about that guy? As a viewer, I felt like Tony Soprano at the end of The Sopranos. Paranoid as fuck and kept yelling at the screen,"No, don't trust that guy!" and then when it
...
turns out my guess was wrong, I'd turn to the next character and be like,"Oh, hell no! Definitely don't trust that guy!" This anime felt like something that could of happened irl and I enjoyed it.
8/10 art:
The animation is pretty consistently well done. I like the character designs and etc. Nothing else to really say, but if you're not convinced, it's animated by Madhouse.
9/10 sound:
There were quite a few good openings this season, but this one was just so damn catchy! The osts and everything. Even the ending song. Every sound this anime made got my ears attention. This anime had the best sound out of any anime I've heard this season. I put the volume way higher whenever I came back to this anime weekly.
6/10 character:
There's quite a few characters that were interesting. Like Jean, Niino.. Actually, there's quite a lot of characters that had interesting traits. Jean's not give a fuck attitude, Niino had the is he best friend or just a job thing going on, a lot of people were schemers, and a lot of people liked bread lol. But with such a huge cast of characters and the focus always shifting to Jean, I tend to forget some characters.
7/10 enjoyment:
It was slow, but the sound, guesses on what's what, relaxing type anime really made me enjoy this anime for what it was.
8/10 overall:
This is the type of anime where I probably wouldn't watch again because guessing what would happen is a huge chunk of the fun, but for a first watch it was pretty damn fun.

3-Gatsu was originally an anime I started watching because I love Shaft's other animes, but a few episodes in I started watching to follow along on Rei's journey.
8/10 Story:
The story resonates with me a lot. It's like a combination of figuring out life in the present and how to deal with your past at the same time. The story is more than just about shogi, it's more about the player. How he decides what pieces to use, what pieces to move, and try and overcome his next opponent/obstacle. It also applies to his life. He has his new family which currently guards him and
...
his past (pieces he lost) which keep coming back to attack him.
9/10 Art:
This is pretty self explanatory. The art is unique and defines each situation perfectly. You can properly see how everyone is feeling in each scene. It's powerful and really makes you think back when you were hurt but then got through it thanks to a loved one.
9/10 Sound:
The opening/endings always seemed to tell Rei's story just by listening to it. Everything was made well to fit the mood. It wasn't forced like laugh tracks from 90s comedies but I knew when to smile, be sad, and root for them thanks to the sound.
8/10 Character:
As far from how much I like their characters, It's pretty much 10/10. The only reason it's an 8 is because some of the characters got underdeveloped in comparison to the main few. I love them all as characters from their realism, supportiveness, and silliness. Even the characters we know little about, I wanna know more about them cus they seem interesting. Rei's sister, Rei's future opponents, and pretty much everyones past.
8/10 Enjoyment:
3-Gatsu was that one anime I kept coming back to weekly. It was at times heartbreaking, heartrelieving, and at times very intense. I enjoyed the characters and the story that came with them, but at some points it was a little slow. I enjoyed it overall, and was happy as fk when they announced season 2 coming soon.
9/10 Overall:
Another one of Shaft's animes that I actually liked. Hope you give this anime a chance because everything about it is relatable and enjoyable at the same time.

In the end of Season 1, I thought the story was actually going to go somewhere. But as soon as I was halfway through season 2, I realized nothing really happened to further the story. I thought season 1 to have some potential so I came into season 2 with some expectations. I was pretty disappointed to be honest.
3/10 story:
There was little to no story. This anime felt more like a slice of life than an adventure type anime.
4/10 art:
The art was a big let down compared to the previous season. It seems they just rushed this out to get some profit
...
quickly. People say it fits the anime, but an anime can have good art while having their characters making retarded faces. I feel like detailed retarded faces would be funnier. I honestly think even fan animations on youtube have better quality.
6/10 sound:
Nothing really caught my ears during the anime, but I never skipped the opening and ending songs at least.
6/10 characters:
I don't think I like any characters and that's in a bad way. In It's always in Sunny in Philadelphia, they are all assholes to each other, but I like them as characters. But in this anime, they are all assholes and I don't like their characters. Darkness in any situation is a pervert and is never serious. This really gets annoying and it was never funny in the first place. Aqua reminds me of an annoying version of Shinpachi from Gintama. All she does is scream and complain. She has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Megumin is an alright character though. Besides from the refusal to learn another trick than explosion to help the group, she's probably the least annoying. Tbh I kinda like Kazuma as a character. He's interesting and steers away from the usual cliches. He doesn't take shit from other characters even if they're a girl and voices his opinions on things. Like equality and such. Most of the characters are presented as is and they don't seem to have another side to them that we can learn about.
6/10 enjoyment:
Although this anime overall was disappointing story wise and comedy wise, It still got a few chuckles out of me, just barely. Nothing major really happened. I don't mind anime with no story or being episodic, but at least be really really funny like Saiki, Gintama, The Daily Lives of Highschool Boys, Nichijou, etc.
5/10 overall:
I'm not being a hater towards this anime, I just wanted it to go in a different direction. This had the potential to be one of my favorite comedies, but all the jokes were just sex jokes and they explored nothing more than that.

Reuploaded Review: This review is for all of Gintama. I found out about Gintama not that long ago and had my doubts during the first few episodes, but It quickly rose to my 2nd favorite anime of all time. I finished all of Gintama very fast. It was the fastest I've ever completed a long ass series. Now I am excited because this is the first time I get to watch Gintama as it airs.
A huge cast of lovable characters are back to rip your heart out and spit on it while you watch in the newest season of Gintama. That's pretty much how
...
I see Gintama. It doesn't take itself seriously, but it still manages pull off amazing story arcs. But besides from the short story arcs that tend to feel more satisfying than the majority of longrunner animes, they also have single episodes where they either make you cry rivers from laughing so hard or just straight up crying due to the sadness of their certain situations. You feel like a member of the Gintama family and you get hooked onto all the lovable characters. (Especially since everyone has wonderful voice actors that do the characters justice) You eventually even start caring about the villains too due to the reasons they turned bad and their backstories. But the comedy alone is worth watching Gintama. All those amazing story arcs are just icing on that huge ass mayonnaise cake. The comedy is on a whole different league than most comedy shows. If I were to compare its' hilarity levels to other shows, I'd probably compare it to somewhere near earlier seasons of South Park, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Archer, The Office, and Parks and Recreation. All these shows have unique characters with hilarious interactions with each other so that's why I'm comparing them to Gintama.
9/10 Story:
Of course the story arcs are 10/10 for me, but since story arcs aren't that huge of a percentage of Gintama, I lowered it down to 9.
9/10 Art:
The art matches the feeling of Gintama well and all characters are suited well. The only thing is that everyone literally has the same face but with different hair drawn on lol. And those random people in the crowds who have weird ass haircuts. (I'm looking at you Daigorou.)
10/10 Sound:
The theme songs, ending songs, osts, and everything is amazing. Gintama probably has the most openings on my favorite openings of all time list. Right next to Bleach and Jojo. My favorite ost in Gintama is Madao.
10/10 Characters:
Of course this is 10/10. Everyone in Gintama stands out in their own way. Everyone is unique and you can't help but love them all. Even the villains..
10/10 Enjoyment:
Gintama is one of the most enjoying things I've ever watched. It has so much rewatch value to me and I'll be watching Gintama in the future no matter what even when it ends.
10/10 Overall:
Many people hate on Gintama, but I honestly don't care. Neither do I care about the overall rating of Gintama. Even if the ratings go up or down, It wouldn't affect my enjoyment at all. To those who enjoy Gintama, make sure to enjoy this season and the possible more to come seasons till it ends. Gintama is unique and I don't see anything else that is like it at all.

I'm one of those few who gave Ajin a chance while many were turned off because of the animation. I didn't really have any expectations at the beginning, but I was in for one hell of a ride.
8/10 story:
The concept of becoming nonhuman and having to protect yourself has been done in animes like Tokyo Ghoul and Parasyte. In Ajin however, there are not just a simple 2 sides in the battle. There are more opponents and each group has different goals.
8/10 art:
People hate the art/animation in Ajin, but honestly I had no problems with it. I got used to the animation when Ajin
...
season 1 episode 1 ended and it actually does fit the anime and its' suspensefulness.
8/10 sound:
I'm not a big fan of this season's opening in comparison to the first season's opening, but the sounds during the episodes fit the intense atmosphere that Ajin hooked me in with since season 1.
9/10 character:
I love everyone in Ajin and their complex personalities. Especially Satou, he's unpredictable and interesting to watch. (Satou is my favorite villain of 2016, right next to Kira from Jojo) Ajin is full of so many amazing characters that you find yourself not knowing who to root for. Everyone has different reasons/motives for their actions and it really makes you care for them.
8/10 Enjoyment:
It was so fun seeing everyones strategies and counterstrategies. It reminds me of a game of cat and mouse like Monster or Death Note. Speaking of Death Note, I haven't been hyped for a new episode like this for a long time. They both have me sitting on the edge of my seat due to excitement and makes me wonder what's going to happen next or how will the next battlefield play out. This show was one of the few shows from this season that made me come back each week to satisfy my anticipation.
8/10 overall:
A lot of people are missing out on this anime and I'm glad I'm not one of them. Make sure to watch this anime. Satou alone is worth the watch. Everything else is just sweet sweet icing on the cake. Enjoy the anime!
