If I could give this anime an 11 I would! Genuinely one of the best I ever watched.

It's painfully relatable, it's wholesome, it's funny, it's inspiring and more.
The animation is beautiful, the scenes where the band is performing are stunning, there's a generous dose of creativity in the animation to portrey social anxiety and it works. The characters are lovable, each in their own way, very cute and have well defined personalities, even the ones with less screentime get their backstory and they feel "real". The music is also incredible, love all the songs used and I added most of them to my ... spotify playlist.

Can't reccomend this show more, especially if you're someone who struggles with social anxiety or even just introvertism. It makes you feel like you're not alone, you go "wow this is so relatable, I guess I'm not the only one who struggles with these things that come so easy to others" but also it gives you hope and inspiration to grow. If Bocchi here can take action and push herself out of her comfort zone surely you can too! Also there's a decent chance you will want to pick up a guitar after a few episodes :)

Didn't expect to get more than a chuckle out of this show but it ended up being quite emotional and deep. Really took me on an emotional roller-coaster. Romance and comedy are both done very well in this one IMO. The art style is great. Admittedly, the characters, other than our main girl Rikka, are a bit shallow, there's not much backstory or anything but it didn't bother me too much. The relationships between characters feel very organic, nobody really went with the intention of joining a group and being friends, it just kind of happens, just like in real life. The ending could have ... been done a bit better in terms of setup but it's a great show. Well worth a watch.
