TLDR
Awesome and fantastic: 10/10
I literally have 0 complaints about this anime. Season 1 and Season 2 both blew me away with their story and their characters. 86 instantly shot up to my top 3 after watching both seasons and I just had to make a review.
The story is awesome. The amount of emotion and care put into it is something I don't see a lot in small animes like this. I couldn't stop watching and wanting to see more of it. The plot and everything was built up nicely and the story never deviated from itself. Telling the story of both Vladilena Milizé and the
...
86 as a whole was great.
The art was great as well. Even though the fights used a lot of CGI, it wasn't painful to watch and I actually really enjoyed it. The characters looked great, the scenery did what it was meant to and really displayed the mood of the scene, and just everything looked awesome.
The music in this was just fantastic. Avid and Hands Up to the Sky were just gems to hear and both really expressed the emotions of the scenes/episodes.
The characters are also just awesome. The development of each character is great and it really gets you attached to them all. I don't want to spoil it a lot, so I'll just leave it at that.
Of course, it's a 10/10 for me. I haven't been shocked with an anime since Jobless Reincarnation s2. I loved this with a passion and I recommend it to EVERYONE. Just a heartfelt story and just a gem. Watch it.

Violet Evergarden is a truly exceptional show in every aspect. The story is unique and emotional, with several touching moments that could bring even the toughest of people to tears. The pacing is perfect, the art is stunning, the sound is captivating, and the characters are all well developed.
The story follows Violet, a former soldier who has lost her arms and is now exploring the world of "Auto Memory Dolls", where she helps people write letters. Violet's journey to discover the meaning of love is both challenging and inspiring, as she navigates the emotional landscape of human relationships.
The art is simply stunning, with smooth animation
...
that captures the characters' emotions perfectly. The openings and endings are beautifully composed, and the soundtrack adds to the overall atmosphere.
Violet herself is an incredibly well-written character, with a compelling arc that takes her from a cold, distant person to someone who is deeply compassionate and empathetic. Her growth is palpable and feels earned, and the supporting characters are equally excellent.
I highly recommend this show to anyone, even if you aren't a fan of the premise or genre. It's a masterpiece of storytelling and emotion, with so much heart and depth that will touch everyone who watches. I give it a well-deserved score of 9.6.

I have mixed feelings about this anime, if I'm completely honest. It can be mind-numbingly boring at times and the CGI is used too much. It tries to bring elements from "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime", but fails at it. If you don't have time to read this review, then I will just say it's decent if you just wanna watch something dumb, but if you want a really good Isekai anime, then you might wanna go somewhere else.
The story is your basic Isekai plot. High schoolers get blown up by some magic bomb and then are all reincarnated in a fantasy
...
world. The story goes mainly between 2 characters, Wakaba Hiiro and Yamada Shunsuke. Both stories are set 15 years apart from one another (I think). Wakaba is reincarnated as a Small Lesser Taratect that hatches in the Great Elroe Labyrinth and tries to survive within it. Yamada is reincarnated as a prince and goes through magic school. The story is confusing however, due to things like administrators, gods, and many other things that I feel like were rushed through. I give the story a 6/10 because it's generic and confusing as hell.
Now the characters. I don't really like any of them. Wakaba is just cringy as hell. The entire time when she's the main focus, she just talks to herself and does stupid things. Yamata is your classic Hero dude that almost every bad Isekai has. He cares a lot about his friends and he doesn't wanna hurt anyone at all. The side characters here are all boring too. Wakaba was the only character I could kinda enjoy without wanting to pull my hair out. Characters are a 5/10
Did I enjoy it? Yes, because I expected it to be like this. Should you watch it? Not if you want an actual good Isekai anime to watch (Jobless Reincarnation or Slime), but if you just want a stupid show to sit back and watch, then this is the one for you. I give it a 7/10 just because I did somehow enjoy it, but It does have a lot of flaws so it's not for everyone.

This anime looked like it would be a fun comedy anime with some fan service, boy was I wrong. For context, every week I watch a 12-16 episode anime in a single night and since this was on my list, I decided to give it a try, but that's a whole 2 hours and 10 minutes of my time wasted. I never thought that 12 minutes and 30 seconds could be so long.
Firstly, the story is bad. It is about a girl who really wants to revive her old "magicians club" that was being disbanded due to having only 1 member. One day however a
...
male named Assistant-kun (I don't remember if his real name was ever mentioned) was searching for a club and stumbled into the room where the magician (she will be called "sempai" now) is at. She forces him to join the club and do magic tricks that she always fails. 3/10
The art is nice; the characters actually look pretty good, especially sempai. It wasn't a pain to look at (at least the art wasn't) and because of that, the art gets the highest score of 7/10.
Characters are bland. Each of them is the exact same and never changes. 1 girl loves making balloon animals but for some reason really loves her brother (like unhealthy type love) and throughout the anime, she doesn't change. It's just the same thing over and over again. 3/10
I really struggled to sit through this anime. Luckily, the episodes were only 12, and a half minutes, but those 12 minutes felt like hours. I nearly fell asleep in my chair from how boring it was. The comedy is completely reliant on Sempai getting herself into classic ecchi positions. She gets put into weird positions that expose her panties; her clothes will be ripped off (in one case, pops); her boobs are constantly being shown, etc. I don't care about fan service, and all that, but when it's all you rely on for comedic value, it is really annoying. I couldn't enjoy this for the life of me. 2/10 for enjoyment.
I will be fair to this anime and give it a 6/10, but I really debating whether or not to put it lower than that. Watch it if you need to fall asleep and you have insomnia, I guarantee you will be out in 5 minutes.
TL:DR
Boring, 5/10.

Honestly, I didn't expect this anime to be as good as it was. Isekai is always iffy at times, but this was pretty good. I got Reincarnated as a Slime vibes from it due to the city building type deal.
Firstly, the story. It's a Isekai so there's nothing more I can say about that, but it does kind of change the formula a bit. Makoto Misumi is sent to a new world due to his parents making a contract with the goddess of the world. When he is sent, he is EXTREMELY powerful and beats everything he comes across. Because of this, most people might
...
be discouraged to watch since it's another "OP character that beats everything", but this would be good for people who love action. 8/10. The animation is also very well done so it's not an eyesore to watch the fights. I'm hoping the second season comes out to be the same or better quality. 8/10 overall. This is a good watch for anyone who wants a strong MC and wants just a fun isekai, action type show to sit back and watch. I am excited for the second season and I hope it is the same quality or better than the first.

This anime honestly blew me away with its great animation and characters, even though it's only a slice of life.
The story goes around Gojo Wakana, who is fascinated with hina dolls and for his whole life he has loved making them. One day as a kid, however, a girl mocks him for loving the hobby and for that, he becomes a social outcast. He doesn't really mind not having friends, but his grandpa is very worried about it and wants him to be more social. One day he meets a girl named Kitagawa Marin, who falls on his desk randomly. He is envious of her
...
because she is literally the opposite of him; popular, outgoing, forceful, and beautiful. When his sewing machine at home breaks, he goes to school to use the sewing machine they have, and he meets Marin again and learns that she is an otaku. This sparks their friendship and they go on to make cosplays and just hang out in normal slice of life anime fashion (festivals, beaches, etc.)
It saddens me that it is only 12 episodes long, but I have a feeling that the second season won't be too far off. If you love slice of life animes, then you will love this one, even if you don't love slice of life animes I recommend this. It just a fun show to sit back and enjoy.

This was soooooooooooooo much better than the first season. I don't usually write reviews, but this deserved one. It is a 10/10 anime.
To begin with the story, it is a full 10/10. I enjoyed how the story went and showed what/how everyone was doing after the events that transpired in the first season. It was emotional at a lot of times (episode 6, 7, and 12 made me almost shed a tear).
Next is the art style, 10/10. Animation was flawless, very easy on the eyes, and made the fights enjoyable. The scenery was good, especially the cities. The only issue was that some fights were
...
a little hard to follow. Sometimes it made it hard for me to tell what was going on. Besides that, though, I enjoyed the art and animation.
I'm not really one to rate on sound, so I won't say much about it. I will say however, that the music was really good, so I just put it as a 10/10.
Characters get a 10/10. I enjoyed every character here; however, like in my first review. Rudeus is a character I respect and don't at the same time. I liked it when he was being mature and was really showing his leadership skills with Eris and Ruijerd, but when he was being a pervert and everything, I kinda lost that respect for him. I would like to remind everyone that Rudeus was a 34 year old before he died and was reincarnated. In some scenes, Rudeus would peek at Eris and some other girls when they took baths, touch women at times, and many other things. Eris before the end of the 2nd season was 13-14. I'm not saying he's a pedophile, but I find it odd that a 34 year old man (mentally) was peeping and touching a 13-14 year old girl. I also really think Rudeus lacks common sense and it seems he can't read the room in certain situations. If you watched this, you understand what I meant. Other than that, all the characters were really good.
I absolutely enjoyed this show and I'm glad that I stayed up from 12:32am-4:44am to watch it. I understand why it was so hyped up. 2nd favorite Isekai anime thus far. Hoping for a 3rd season. First anime of 2022.
Also, I probably messed up a lot with punctuation and all that. I was never good with it. Thanks for reading.

Minor spoilers.
The anime is good, it is definitely a good Isekai anime. The only main issue that doesn't make me want to give it a 10 is the main character. At some moments I respect the main character a lot and think that he is pretty good, but there are other moments where the main character makes me want to stop watching entirely. He is sent to teach a girl and her bodyguard how to use magic, read, write, and basic math. Well the girl that he teaches is 9 at the start and he's constantly sexual towards her. Two times while she was sleeping
...
he tried touching her but both attempts failed, and then on his 10th birthday, he told her "“I’m feeling lonely today, so I might try something dirty you know?" and tried having sex with her. I'm not gonna say he's a pedophile, but that's kind of weird that a mentally 34 year old man is trying to seduce a 9-12 year old girl.
Again its a good anime, but its wayyyyyy too sexual in my opinion. Hopefully in the second season he chills out a bit, but I have a feeling that he will be a bit more pervy.
8/10
