My overall enjoyment of M!IK is rather mixed in-between. First round were typical school life with your "demon" friends, then the next would bounce onto unnecessary forceful attempts of a busty student council president to romance our innocent lead who only wants friends.
Can't believe I'm saying this but if they only made Ameri as a love interest,
Aside from my outmost ๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ณ๐๐น of a girlboss queen, the rest of the cast were good. Most of them were one-sided, but it makes sense for a comedy and they were far more entertaining, especially
...
๐ข๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ, and the list goes on.
However the animation could use some adjustments though.
Honestly I can't even bear to finish it, everytime the show focuses on Ameri being an annoying thorn between the Love Trio or when they shift to some uninteresting turn of events.
Maybe I should finish M!IK just for once. For now, I give this hodgepodge a 8/10.

For the first 3 episodes, Kyuushi/TVDINT season 2 was rather partially mixed between its iconic and notoriously low-graded highlights.
Everyone from the Office Trio to the rest of recurring characters were always stellar thus far, intruiging lore has evolved, and their usual antics in Shin-Yokohama welcome old viewers who tuned in to the first season in open arms. Though sticking to the status quo could get a bit stale. A fresh face could make it more better, right?
When it comes to the newcomers, they can be ranged from good to flat-out unspeakable. We have great additions like Mikazuki being the butt of the joke
...
whenever he fixates on eliminating pesky vampires with his overkill sword technique and Kei Kantarou acting as an unofficial partner of a former dangerous bloodlust vampire Tsujigiri Nagiri.
But what holds me back from giving the second rising a perfect 10/10 score is...Sanzu: the black sheep of the entire series who lurks within the potentially sinister editorial company our beloved duo were forced to work with.
As much I like her design, Sanzu's characterization could sum up more as an obnoxious, obsessive, GATEKEEPING stan of Ronaldo who desperately wanted to steal him away from Draluc and John. She comes off as rather creepy and unnerving like a predator at her first debut and she almost rarely takes a hint. Sadly, Sanzu never made me laugh like everyone else, but rather her loathsome behavior spoils the quality. And do you know the worst part about this? SHE WILL BE LIKE THIS FOR THE REST OF THE SERIES.
I suggest to watch only the best parts without her presence for this 2nd roundup until 3rd time becomes a charm.

An anime about maid mafias was cool at first, but soon it turns into a needless kill count machine for cheap shock value.
Nitpicks I have:
- Lack of given character development within the Oinky Doink Cafe gang aside from Nagomi and Ranko.
- Others rival maids who torture the main cast should get the obituary end and not ignoring them.
- Awful death of Ranko, Suehiro, and the Ramen Chef
- Badly made conclusion between the maid feuds.
- Nerula's death as an attempt for us to feel sad for her.
- Pacing went south when they skip giving the opportunity to witness Ranko and Nagi/Uzuko fist fighting in the
...
burning building.
Positive cookie crumbs:
- Satisfying deaths of annoying characters like the Debt Collector
- Lady Omoe Festival being the best episode for empowering Oinky Doink to be the future of maid culture
- Hidden subtexts between Ranko & Zoya's boxing match
- Nagomi gets to fight as a ninja and incorporate her skills afterwards.
- Other good funny moments I wouldn't be able to take notes on
Despite sharing positive points I made, they did not matter. If you expect a good yakuza anime, just don't. It was all wasted with the rushed pacing between episodes 10-12 and maid wars are gone in a poof without showing a visionary progression. Literary it's just a walking parody and a western adult cartoon about four kids diving into every misadventures did much better in dark comedy than Akiba Maid War.
Watch the show for the frilly maid dresses, but not for a muddled serious story that ticks you off at the end.

Every fictional vampires existed from an infamous erotic novel, an edgy shoujo series with a tiresomely melodramatic love triangle, or an anime where a vampire doctor was actually a sexual predator are lame. Tiring, right?
But a fragile yet immortal vampire addicted to bad games and is a housekeeper resides with a hot-blooded, workaholic vampire hunter who is emotionally sensitive as a roommate of his; including a lovable armadillo carrying the show in a positive light? WELL COUNT ME IN!
You may end up feeling iffy about the constant sexual innuendos, the bickering married couple dynamic between Draluc & Ronaldo, over the top gags, and continuous "death"
...
counts where "The Vampire Dies in No Time"; but if you ask me, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!
Amidst the comedic nightlife atmosphere, there are surprising tidbits ranging from additional character and world lore to heart wrenching scenes that I won't speak of because if I did... it's instant depression in the corner.
Aside from the Office Trio, entire cast of characters were amusing yet endearing to watch; thanks to every famous seiyuus like Jun Fukuyama, Makoto Furukawa, Sho Hayami, Joji Nakata, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, Daisuke Ono, and many more.
The opening song of the show really makes you want to dance in electro swing until your last breath, but I would say the soundtrack which was released in December 21 is underappreciated behind the radar.
I could definitely tell the director of Hunter x Hunter 2011 and the entire staff from Madhouse did an splendid effort to adapt Itaru Bonnoki's hysterically great manga from the art style, humor, to omitting out unnecessary muck ups which could easily ruin the moment.
This is one of my favorite animes of all time and I cannot wait on what's in store for future seasons!
Give this a watch if you want to take a break from using your brain on theorizing thought-provoking stuff or after work hours. Comedy may be subjective depending if you like it or not.
As much as I want to give Kyuushi an accurate score, perfect 10/10 is good enough for me.

From an adult viewpoint, Acro Trip gives an impression of trying way too hard on making you laugh out of inoffensive non-existence; lacking any kind of effort. Synopsis-wise, it can come off as derivative where the starring villains got down-ranked and must climb back up the stairs at the top to be regain their superiority, while facing irrelevant, random SOL you may have seen from hundred thousands of published mangas.
Sizable cast were forgettable and one-dimensional. The leading bad guy; despite having mild, goofy moments is downright pathetic; as in wanting to end himself so badly; while the middle school student protagonist is just obsessing over
...
Precure Berry Blossom. When paired up as a duo, they form an intriguing chemistry that can withhold from its stagnancy. (And give us yet another illicit romance, but thankfully they didn't.)
Though another positive I have to acknowledge from is the front covers featuring characters debuted from previous volumes. But the art style alone in the contents were a bit amateur. There is nothing to write hone about, other than being a harmless cotton candy for little girls. In fact, fans of magical girl genre would enjoy Acro Trip than me.
I would not give it a benefit of a doubt, but rest of you will.
3/10 - Writing (Story & Comedy)
7/10 - Art style
4/10 - Cast of Characters

Since there will be an anime adaptation on next year's Spring, which I won't bother to watch anyway, here are some nitpicks I want to point out:
- Main character Hajime Aono's design was too PAINFULLY similar to the beloved Persona 3 protagonist to the point he was more of weaker, one-note clone of the original. Even his ambitions and life were quite one-note as well. (I wouldn't be surprised the Persona fandom will blatantly point it out of spite.)
- Soon as she appears, I already HATED her. Ritsuko Akine comes out as an obnoxious, abrasive female lead, with the first impression to Hajime at their
...
first meeting with the most OVERUSED LOATHING TROUPE: accusing innocent males as sexual predators. Worst, they were paired up as a possible couple, but honestly I prefer to see them break up on how she tends to be abusive and impulsive while Hajime is reserved and a loner. (Because opposites may attract, but most of the time, opposites detract.)
- Premise itself gave me an impression of it being a shameless, watered down, copy-pasted storyline of a more trashy, vomit-inducing melodrama that plague the souls of man Your Lie is April and the rest of side-characters were treated as such.
Though Ao No Orchestra isn't all that bad for anyone enjoys reading them from time to time, but all of these noticable stains I found make me think it was not worth it. Do so if you want, but monotone orchestral symphony isn't my cup of tea. Stick with the evokers instead.

Would have expect it to be appalling than a good show. Ever since the latest dark comedy about maid mafias going against each other is out this Fall, I decided to check out Lycoris Recoil and boy...I have bigger issues with this.
Range of characters were fine and likable except for the main antagonist Majima. (Sorry but he would have been dead with the main duo during the supposed collapse of another tower.)
Pacing is fine from beginning to episode 11, until 12 and 13 jumps too much platforms from finishing off the bad guy easily, escorting the remaining Lycoris from the debris and from its counterpart
...
Lilybell, (Which I sense quite a bit of alarming sexist undertones) to once again on a duel with the villain while brooding, then he dies and the bomb exploded with everyone at the tower died. Or so I hope it was because at the end, it was just a joke. Like BULLROAR!๐ก
Some controversies like the underwear episode and others where they glorify state violence and morality balance comes off between reality and fiction as...kinda awful though.
There. I don't really care about not having a Yuri endgame like everyone else...just wanted a decent anime for it to reign Summer 2022, but this doesn't count. For that, I am not recommending watching such massive hodgepodge of rotten fruits flies love to feast on like Lycoris Recoil. Just fly off on a maid yakuza rampage instead.

Wouldn't recommend it for those who want to get the same extravagant essence PA Works and Avex pulled off, unless if you want to find out the rest of narrative went after the 109 arc. As for why the manga is inferior in my case, there are numerous reasons I want to jot down:
โข Non-existent or lack of raw, emotional character growth with the rest of the characters that made them human-like.
โข Failed on showcasing genuine camaraderie of the group within the BB Lounge
โข Additional characters debuted in every arc were either functioned as plot devices, bystanders, or existed for the sake of inserting questionable
...
scenes. (Most notable example is Kabetaijin, where he only appears in every rap battle sequences instead of exploring more of his gradual change and character background beyond from the MC Battle Arc)
โข Unnecessary shots of "male gaze" fan service detracting your attention
โข Obnoxious immaturity of the female lead Eiko
โข Needless comedic panels
Few positives I'd like to acknowledge:
โข Side story of Guan Yu reincarnated in South America where he goes on 50,000 kilometer journey around the entire continent and meeting up the locals.
โข Intriguing history of The Three Kingdoms and demonstration of war stratagems.
Overall, Yotsuba and Ogawa's take on Paripi Koumei isn't their best work.

Surely it may seem to be a unique take on romcoms where heroes and supervillains get into a "forbidden love", Love After World Domination is nothing but saccharine barf once you get a taste of getting cooties from naughty girls back at elementary school. (Also known as cringe) Overall the context of the show has "been there, done that" in every existing medium if you take off the Tokusatsu parody elements. No offense but it's baffling to me and more power to you if anyone out there found this anime entertaining. Now if you excuse me, I better get myself a barf bag...
