Sailor Moon (1992-1997)
I decided to take a look at this classic, given how iconic it is, being one of the benchmarks in the world, and what can I say?
Sailor Moon adds the tropes of your typical shoujo series, with a somewhat silly, smiling, lovesick protagonist, good with everyone because yes but despite, with the passing of the episodes you grow fond of her, like her friends Ami, Rei, Makoto, Minako, Haruka, Michiru, Setsuna and Hotaru
Sailor Moon is a phenomenon among Mahou-Shoujo and popular culture in general, having a wide cast of characters with rich personalities and making reference to some social issues, having representation of
...
minorities such as the LGBTQ+ community.
Something that remains for this program is that it simmers, since it was broadcast almost simultaneously with the manga, taking advantage of this to give the characters more depth. His monster of the week formula can get tiresome.
Most of the general villains of each season can be bad because yes, despite this, they are given more relevance, having episodes of protagonism, as well as episodes dedicated to irrelevant characters where they add little or nothing to the story and do not they reappear in later episodes.
I didn't have a fav season but of all I would say the most exasperating in SM SuperS, 80% of the season is made up of slice of lice moe starring chibiusa, with some good episodes here and there.
Some characters with good potential are wasted, such is the case with Mamoru, who has little participation in SM Sailor Stars and other characters that you never hear from again. About the Starlights, I don't have much to say, they tried to put a love triangle between Usagi and Seiya although for the rest, this group didn't transmit much to me.
Despite the flaws and padding, YES there is a development between the characters, the most notable in the protagonist who is more mature and courageous with the passage of the program.
I would not see the Crystals version, given that its animation seems disastrous to me and the fact that everything happens very soon, does not give that feeling of rest between events, something that the 90s adaptation did in filler episodes.
I would recommend it if you are very patient, have a lot of free time or like vintage animation, predictable and pastel situations, everyday situations of life and comedy, and of course repetitive sequences, (I love transformations)
Moon Prism Power, Make-Up!!!

I never thought that a slice of life would enchant me so much! and I must admit that Akage no Anne is one of those productions that should be considered as immortals!!
Each episode is an audiovisual delight for all those who love slice of life and vintage animation.
If you know how to appreciate the little everyday things in life, along with beautiful landscape backgrounds full of details and pastel colors, this is undoubtedly an excellent anime for you.
In this production, the development of characters matters more, seeing them grow gives pure satisfaction and you will feel comfortable with at least some of the experiences of
...
the protagonist.
Vintage animation, beautiful landscapes full of details, endearing characters and a beautiful Soundtrack

Moon Prism Power, Make-Up!!!

It is also the first '' Review '' that I do so it will be short.
This was one of the most anticipated animes of the season, I was eager to see how they developed a dark and bloody story based on an RPG game. Apparently all my hopes about this anime were declining to see that it was developing very slowly and basically almost never came to anything.
What I loved the most about this adaptation was the art, the animation and its soundtrack, but honestly it was very difficult to follow this anime to the point where I thought about dropping it but unfortunately I
...
followed all its episodes leaving a bitter taste.
I think they should remove the genre '' Gore '' because all they do show is blood but no organs or bodies dismembered if you think that is what you expect from this series. The characters is not that I would like much except for Zack.
In short, it was a disappointment
