I'm going to say right now that my general review for this will be negative. Don't like, don't read. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion.
Now as far as I'm concerned, people that reviewed this with an 8, I can only assume they reviewed each Endless Eight episode with a 1, totaling the entire review to an 8.
Well, that would be funny anyways.
Story 3/10: Like most people, I'm going to rate this very badly. There was no story as far as I'm concerned. Aside from the few episodes that were different, the repetition of Endless Eight had no good excuse for even happening. So what if
...
they included different outfits each time, different camera angles, and maybe a few seconds of extra scenes. IT'S STILL NO EXCUSE. To be honest, I'll admit that I didn't bother to sit through the entire 24 mins of every episode of Endless Eight. There was no point in wasting my time doing so. So, the story in general sucked.
Art 8/10: I'll admit Haruhi's art level is high quality. First series had high quality, second series had high quality. I give kudos for the poor artists that had to re draw scene after scene for Endless Eight. I would have quit, or bashed my head in. So whatever, the art of Haruhi will be as it is. Good.
Sound 7/10: It's been probably close to a year or over half a year since I watched this, so I can't remember much about the sound. I do like Haruhi's sound though. It's one of the better qualities of the show. Can't have a good anime without good music. It keeps you entertained to say the least. So it was pretty good.
Character 5/10: I guess I'm only giving this half because Haruhi's characters in general are pretty plain. Nothing we haven't seen before. I for one quite dislike Haruhi's character in general. She's too annoying for me to handle. Sorry to any Hirano Aya fans (which I know there are many) but I just can't stand her voice. It drives me up the wall, and Haruhi's character with said voice just has me hitting my head against the screen. Besides Haruhi, everyone else is alright. Except, as I said, it's already been done. I guess there's no such thing as an 'original character' anymore.
Enjoyment 2/10: To say the least, I hated The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 2009. As I said before, there were a couple good episodes near the end, but Endless Eight just shot everything down and turned what could have been an okay series, to a dreadful one. I really wasn't expecting them to go as far as to really do 8 episodes of the same shit. It started to seem all too clear as to what KyoAni's plans were when the 3rd and 4th episodes came out for this arc. Terrible.
Overall 2/10: Seriously...there's nothing more to say. If you want to watch it, go ahead. There's no one stopping you. I won't say it's completely unwatchable, but I can't say you'll enjoy it as much as the first series. Just watch the first couple episodes, ONE episode of Endless Eight, and then the last episode of Endless Eight and carry on from there. You don't even need to watch half the series to understand where it's going.

Alright...I'm writing this for a reason. To hope people will read this and so that they won't waste their time watching this anime like I did. I'm still watching it actually, and I do intend to finish it because I don't normally like dropping too many animes. Although if this series had anymore than 13 episodes, I might of had to reconsider.
Story 5/10: Well...what sort of story is it really? There's little to no plot at all. The only thing I can see going on is that everyone wants the Asura Crying. First they're fighting, and the next their figuring out who to fight next
...
or being followed by SOMEONE and attacked. Same thing over and over again, and same characters doing the same fighting pattern constantly.
Art 6/10: The artwork isn't COMPLETELY horrible, but it isn't very good either. It's mostly the kind of art your regular mediocre anime would have, whether the plot be good or not. The style isn't totally bland, but it could have been better. The only things that really look good are the machines, which I assume the creators are focusing on as would any other anime devoted to the mecha genre. But seriously, I've seen better looking art in animes that are still focused on making the mechs and what not look the best from anything else.
Sound 7/10: What to say about the sound? I guess it's alright..if it was anything like Mars of Destruction then it would have only made this anime even more horrible. Thank god it isn't. It's pretty good, and seems to flow good with the anime in general. The overal sound EFFECTS are decent as well. Nothing that doesn't make it sound too fake. I'd say this is one of the better qualities of the anime.
Character 5/10: I was going to give this a 4...but I guess I'm being generous. Yes, GENEROUS. The charactes are pretty boring enough as it is. Nothing really original at all. They look boring as well, and the colors for them aren't too 'bright'. Not to mention their personalities are that of any average anime. Girl partnered with a boy that she probably likes, only to have another companion like him as well, as well as another sometimes sexually harassing him. Your typical naive 'hero', spiritual naive girl, girl with an attitude and a probable tsundere just for kicks. Although the REAL character issue would be the random million characters that pop up in every episode with no explanation about them, except for what side their on. Not to mention sometimes when a character pops up, they suddenly become BFFs with the main character, as to which the main character would probably risk their life for them later on.
Enjoyment 3/10: Again, I was going to give this a 2...but eh. As you can see from the other sections, this anime is just boring. I will admit however, that the first few episodes will keep you entertained. But only the first few..maybe the first 4-6 if anything? After that, everything just goes downhill. I really had high hopes for this anime..but after everything I've seen, it's just trash. It was ruined completely with all the random unexplained crap that goes on. I really don't expect it to get any better. Because truthfully, how can it? Maybe if they actually showed some sort of character background and development with the other characters, and made other things more clear, it would have been a tad more interesting.
Overall, I give this anime a 3/10. It's terrible..and I advise anyone and EVERYONE to avoid watching it so they won't waste any time like I have. I feel bad for the talented voice actors that have to provide their voices for this disaster. So really, unless you actually like watching animes with boring characters, confusing 'plot twists' with no explanation, and having a series that's hoarded with tons of random characters at once, then by all means, go for it. If not, seriously. Don't watch this. You're much better off watching something like Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Code Geass, or Macross Frontier. Actual animes with VERY high potential.

Randomness, Romance, Comedy and Pervertedness all rolled into one. Honestly, there's not a single boring episode so far.
The first episode alone was hilarious. My first impression was "WTF ROFL." and it still is. It isn't the bad kind of random like some animes, but the good kind that you'll laugh over and wish for more.
So the main character is a total perv..but that works just fine since he brings most of the comedy into the story. He makes sexual jokes practically all the time and has multiple girls around him.
There are themes of yuri, but that just adds to how funny and awesome it is.
...
Sometimes it'll seem like something 'romantic' is going to happen between the main character and his childhood friend, but as soon as it gets far enough, it'll break off. Though it isn't like some series where it breaks off really quickly. The scene will be satisfying enough before that happens.
Though the art style is..not as good as some, I suppose the story and plot make up for it big time. Just goes to show that the art isn't the only thing that makes a good anime.
The element of a juice can turning into a chick is quite random as well. Not to mention if they go 'flat' they will end up 'dying' so to speak. So it isn't as if these girls are imortal. Like humans, they can die just as easily if a certain criteria isn't met, aka refilling their cans with the same juice.
All in all it's a pretty good anime. So if you need a good laugh, I recommend this one.
