TLDR at end
I really enjoyed it, it was a fun read, its not perfect, far from it, the story telling is all over the place, plot and setting get way to wild and some plot point are completely unexplored, at some point I wasn't even sure what was going on, the art is inconsistent, sometimes its meh and sometimes it holy shit, the art is understandable since the author has been making it for 5 years so you can the art skills improve over time, the pace is just bad, some fights especially later on get so dragged out with final form after final form

Overall solo levelling is mid at best
BUT It did what it set out to do better than anything else in the power fantasy genre, it doesn't shy from what it wants to give you, cool mc does cool shit, fights cool people and has cool art making the badassery 10x better, it never turns into some random romance or harem or look at me am cool or any kind of bs like that, that being said its not for everyone, if you don't like power fantasy then you'll despise it, but if you like power fantasy then this is the best there is, its not ... |
