Like the other films, this film emphasize heavily on character development while filling in questions for the viewers who had already seen the previous films. This film focuses mainly on Shiki and her abilities' origin, etc.

As usual, the visuals are amazing as always. The music and sounds use are mostly used before by the previous films but since they are suiting I am personally not going to complain about it.

As mentioned, this film focuses on character development, and it excels at portraying out the details of each character. Though most of the time it showcases character development on Shiki, Mikiya and Touko isn't left out ... either too.

Honestly I was disappointed in the lack of action involved but I still personally enjoyed this film since it filled up the questions.

Unlike the first and second film, the story line for this seems to just be an event which the main characters happened to be involved before, and have a darker plot compared to those two films.
This film also emphasis a lot on mystery, with a lot of twists and turns rather than action or (if you are affected by dark plots) horror/thriller itself.

As usual, the visuals done in this anime series are extremely well and it's tone suits well to it's scenario portrayed.

Background music does not appear to be different but still suiting to the scenarios given.

Not much character development for the main protagonists. The ... character (Asagami) introduced in this film was very interesting, and throughout the entire film you will keep getting knowledge about this new character, aka there is always something new about this character.

Overall, I personally enjoyed this film, but it is not really recommended to watch this if you sensitive to some dark plots (murder/rape).

Compared to the first film's story line, this film mainly focuses on a fixed story line with character development on Shiki and Mikiya. It mainly shows more in-depth detail about Shiki and Mikiya and how those two interact with each other. Otherwise, mystery side of story is also decently fun is watch.

As expected after watching the first film, the art and animation is still visually awesome and consistent. The art simply matches each scene's scenario and has a lot of detail to it as well.

The music given was excellent and suited every scene's setting well.

The film fulfilled it's role in telling us how the ... two characters met, interact and like back in the past, while showcasing it in a variety of ways that makes it more interesting. Although, it does not go too deep into detail about a single character, and it also leaves out the other characters too.

Personally, I enjoyed this film a lot.

This film seems to start in a way which deprives you of information, only to gain them overtime, but still leaves you questioning after the film is over.
I would say that the main part of this film's story is about introducing you, the audience, to the main character alongside with the settings/scenarios in the main character's world. And it does it's job at that while providing a decent fixed story line for us to enjoy.
I would personally say this as a prologue to the upcoming films, since it only provides general/simple information about the world's setting and the characters, and does not go into deep ... details about them.
At the end of the film, one would have a general idea but still have questions, which isn't a bad thing personally since it can encourage one to continue looking through the other films. (As smart anime characters always used to say "Human are curious creatures")

I am personally not picky about Art/Sound. But I have to mention that the art was exceptionally well made in the sense that it gave off a lot of details. The music portrayed suited the scenarios extremely well too.

This film gives you just enough information about a character, slightly less if not. But as mentioned previously, it does not go too deep into detail about a character's story line.
Though not a lot, the character's personality and details showcased was all relevant towards the film's story and made it enjoyable too.

Personally, I enjoyed watching this film. The one noticeable letdown to me was the long unnecessarily pauses that some scenes have, which can often be misleading/confusing.

If you enjoy a daily life of a guy in a MMORPG world, then this anime is just for you.

As expected from my first sentence, this anime does not have much of a story/plot.
Like most of us when we play MMORPG games, we don't really have any clear objective since we are playing for enjoyment (unless you are a hardcore player), but objectives/goals comes to us naturally as stuff occurs.
This is what the anime is mostly trying to portray, a character inside sent into a video game world, with him having not much goals but completing "quests" that comes along to him or exploring around ... due to human curiosity.
Hence? If you are looking for an anime with a fixed, clear story/plot, this anime does not really have one unfortunately.

I am not really picky about art/sound, but I will mention that sometimes the character's voice sounds off, or doesn't really sound like how they look/act.

Character development is decent, they portray their character's personality both directly and indirectly through their actions and verbal speech, and did not quite overemphasize on one's personality. But unfortunately most of the characters did not have enough characteristics, or you could say there was not enough scenes of character development.

Personally, this anime is enjoyable to me. But depending on others, it may or may not be enjoyable.
