I really love this manga, right from the very first page. It's an adorable and relaxing read.

Story
For a romance manga it's a pretty orginal plot, it starts off a teenage girl called Ageha, who has a serious sister complex and a love of designing and making bags. When her sister, Hibari, gets unexpectedly gets pregnant and decides to marry it really shocks Ageha. Eventually Ageha goes along with Hibari to a dress fitting at VBR, where she meets two gorgeous guys. Yukari and Mitsu help Ageha to accept her sister's marriage. From what I've read so far it's really heartwarming. I find the plot easy ... to relate to, since something similar happened to me, and generally over all I've loved every page. The blooming romance between Yukari and Ageha can be frustrating at times, but then unexpectedly sweet and loving. It's made my heart jump a few times, which is always a good thing to find in a manga!

V.B Rose has a really simple but elegant art, which makes it easy to read and to follow. :)

Character
The characters are the make or break in a manga for me. If I can't relate or engage with the characters then I get bored very easily. But in V.B Rose I adore all of the characters, they each have depth to them and aren't very stereotypical. Ageha isn't a push over like you find in some mangas, she's strong independant, intelligent and spirited. As you see her overcome her mistakes she becomes more and more mature. Yukari and Mitsu are brilliant too, who wouldn't want to work with two gorgeous guys making wedding dresses?

I gave this manga a 10 overall because it stood out from all the mangas that I've been reading lately and I can't wait to read more of it! :)

Skip beat! is a truly wonderful manga, at first I was a bit skeptical in reading it but after the first few chapters I was instantly hooked. Skip Beat is a story about a girl who gave her everything to a guy but then finds out that he had been using her all along. Kyoko left everything behind to support her love Shotaro, who wants to become a star. She works herself to the bone to try and please him, until she stumbles across him having a conversation with his manager. She finds out that Shotaro has never had true feelings for her and had ... just been enjoying her stupidty. Kyoko filled in a fit of rage promises that she will enter the show business herself and get her revenge.

At first the plot seems faintly ridiculous, with naive characters. However as the story progresses the characters develop and revenge takes a back seat after Kyoko realises that acting is the only thing she has done for herself and actually enjoyed. The characters are brilliant, they instantly won my heart. Especially the main character, I found myself cheering at her every achievement and crying at every mistake. The manga has just the right balance of humour and emotion.

For me the only let down in this manga is the artwork, but that might just me being fussy! I have truly loved every single chapter so far and am waiting on tenterhooks for the next few chapters to be released.

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle is the most in depth manga that I have read so far, the art work combined with the brilliant character development kept me hooked throughout. It follows a group of travellers Sakura, Syaoron, Fai, Kurogane and Mokona who travel from world to world on a mission to recover Sakura's memories. However the longer they travel more is revealed about the hidden motives behind their journey. It's not long before they uncover a sinister plot, with many hidden traps.

Story
I gave the story a 9 because at times it can be incredibly confusing. But that might just be me missing things. The plot is ... complicated as you would expect to find in any space-time manga. The beginning starts out innocently enough but as the plot thicken it develops the most beautiful tragic atmosphere. Mystery is maintained throughout, forcing you to turn page after page. Before you know it you've finished that volume! This manga keeps you constantly guessing and always surprises you. However for me, it lacks finality at the ending. Perhaps that is because I love this manga so much that I don't want it to end!

Art
The art in Tsubasa is simply magnificent, I rate it at a 10.

Character
The characters in this manga seriously make it one of the best mangas that I've read. I've never had a character that inspires so much emotion in me as them. Each one takes an individual journey and you can see each step they take and how their trust and relationships grow. Each of the main characters have a truly awful past, but they still manage to survive. They find love in each other, it's lovely to watch happen!
