Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, a pinnacle of human achievement that can only described as watching a very fabulous and incredibly entertaining fashion show car accident. This is quite honestly one of the best anime I've ever watched, not just for the fantastically weird story and downright sublime art. The memes drew me in and now I can't get out. Frankly, I don't want to! I'm going to break this review into the categories provided by MAL; Story, Art, Sound, Character, and Enjoyment. Have fun!

before. What other anime can claim to be broken into two parts, the first about Ninja's roid-raging golden-hearted secret love child fighting his adoptive vampire brother and his zombie army with the power of deep breathing exercises. That sounds like a joke, but it's dead serious and incredibly well-written. The second part is set nearly fifty years later before WWII, where a psychic British 19 year old teams up with a cocky Italian man with bubble powers and Nazi Robocop to defeat a quartet of ancient Aztec vampire strippers who were awakened from pillars of rock. It's like LSD but even more addictive. The second half has a slightly better protagonist, and all the side characters are just as likable as the ones in the first half. The second half is written even better than the first actually and I was laughing and crying through its entirety. There's no filler, tons of action, and it's paced very well. Any deus ex machina moments only make this wild ride better, serving as a way to increase the absolute insanity of this do-or-die hilarious gorefest. However, sometimes fights take turns that really stretch the already nearly broken suspension of disbelief. But those moments are few and far between, so I'm giving the story 9/10.
Art- It's beautiful. Absolutely my favorite art style in all anime. Period. The way the colors of objects shift under different mood and lighting adds to the fabulously masculine realism of the character design. It's all very high quality and I've never seen it dip, not even once. The fight scenes are so well-animated that it feels real. 11/10 if I could, it's absolutely stellar.
Sound- The OP for both halves is straight up fire, the dramatic metal of the first setting the tone perfectly with fantastic singing. The second OP is just as good, actually better, with the jazzier tones fitting the more fast-paced wheeler-dealer style of Part 2. The outro is an old 70s rock song, which is an absolutely fantastic choice considering the inspiration drawn from American rock and metal. The soundtrack for the episodes is amazing as well, with all the audio blending perfectly with the scenes no matter the tone.
Character- In-fucking-credible. Speedwagon best girl uwu. All the characters are laid out very well and are all very likable (or in Dio's case, incredibly hateable in the best way.) My only issue was the annoying side characters like Poco, who only served as plot fodder, and the lack of character building for Smokey. Jonathan is developed well, but seems very black-and-white and cliche. However, Speedwagon makes up for it by being absolutely amazing in both parts. Joseph is much more fleshed-out as a character and is significantly more likable than his grandfather Jonathan. Caesar is a bit annoying at first however, and Lisa Lisa doesn't get enough depth. However, these small flaws are overshadowed by the most cliche-yet-amazing villain ever: Dio Brando. There are no limits to his abominable evil, and he's so well-written despite his somewhat silly excuse for being malicious (daddy issues), you still want to pound into dust. Despite his absolutely monstrous and horrifying presence, he retains a devilish charm that somehow makes even the man who revoked his humanity likable in a twisted way. However, somewhat poor writing on a few side characters I am forced to rate this an 8/10.
Enjoyment- This anime had me doing everything from giggling to biting my nails with anticipation. It's a heart-pounding, gut-wrenching, shock-inducing ride that made me feel every emotion on the human spectrum. It was honestly some of the most enjoyable anime I've seen since Cowboy Bebop. 10/10, it's absolutely amazing.
Overall- A modern masterpiece that takes itself seriously because it knows how goofy it is. It's fun, heartbreaking, rage-inducing, and grotesquely shocking all at once. It is truly a rollercoaster of emotion and feeling I would ride over and over again. A few flaws do remain unfortunately, so I'm giving this a 9/10.
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is one of my all-time favorite anime now. It was fun as fuck the whole way through, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. This is a must-watch anime, you'll come for the memes, and stay for the masterpiece. You'll want to make all your friends watch it so they can experience it too! 10/10, would recommend to the universe. Also Joseph is my waifu now. :3

Dragon Maid is a yuri slice of life anime with some...interesting...undertones. I'm going to review this by Story, Art, Sound, Characters, and Enjoyment, like the official review scorer.
[SWEARING AND SOME SPOILERS AHEAD] Story: 5/10 It's a great concept if a bit cliche, a magical being comes to the human and doesn't understand shit, the human is stoic and peeved, the magic being is all smiles, and there's a host of weirdos that come along for the ride. It's very good at first, with excellent comedy and touching moments with the title characters, Kobayashi and Tohru the Dragon Maid. Kanna is just generally adorable, and it ... Feb 20, 2019
Absolute garbage. And that's not coming from some salty moe-hating weeb who thinks any anime with a pink color scheme is trash. This review is coming from an ACTUAL TRAP. I am a professional cosplayer/crossplayer who finds the gender-bender genre amusing for obvious reasons. I went into this wanting to see an entertaining trap anime, but was instead treated to the abuse, sexual assault, and rape of an innocent boy who wanted no part in this. The protagonist, Hime, is the only likable character and his internal character development from hating crossdressing to enjoying it reminds me of myself. Too bad he gets groped, humiliated,

As someone who enjoys cyberpunk and gore anime, I went into this trainwreck of an anime with high hopes and left it with the same disgust I had after finishing Himegoto, the anime I had watched the night prior. In the same way Himegoto's depiction of sexual assault had darkened what could have been a very enjoyable anime, Genocyber's laughably bad dubbing, lifeless characters, and idiotic storyline ruined this OVA for me. I have no problems with gore, in fact I find it great, but this was so reliant on cheap blood shots and pitifully bad screaming effects that I laughed through the whole thing.
