Spoiler review
So a bit of background context, I read this for the first time around 2019/2020 till chapter 100+ but then got sidetracked and had to reread from chapter 1 again in 2021 and given the action themed nature of this manga I can say it did a good job at
making me interested in the story.
So right from the first few chapters its clear that time travelling is involved, which reminds me of the manga 'All you need is kill' where the protagonist keeps undergoing endless loops of the same day until he manages to not get killed. This manga added a slight change to
...
it which involved Shinpei not being able to keep endlessly looping as each time he loops several hours later as compared to the previous loop. This combined with the fact that the enemy was able to discern this weakness as well made this manga NOT about an OP protagonist, which is already a plus given the plethora of low effort OP protagonist manga today.
At the start of the manga, there were more romantic elements such as Mio involved and in the later half one could tell that the author decided to focus less on these romantic elements and more of the plot instead, which is good imho as ultimately the main genre is action.
The middle of the story involving both Haine and Shide vs Shinpei and his allies was exciting as the battle could go either way and at times I could really feel worried about whether Shinpei and his friends would survive given how he couldn't loop back an infinite number of times.
However, during the final battle, Shide's thought process of ending the world since he couldn't continue prolonging his life seemed superficial as not much dialogue was spent on his intentions. The ending was slightly confusing one could think that they went back in time again or went to a parallel universe instead.
Overall, the story was largely consistent although ending got a tad confusing with the time travelling stuff going on. Also the multiple number of loops made it hard to remember the exact sequence of the events.
TLDR: Would recommend if you are into time travel stuff
Tip: Take no longer than 2 days without reading this manga as the details in this manga are rather niche as it involves time travelling so its best to keep your mind fresh and read it whenever possible.

Non-spoiler review
Story: 7/10
Really similar to Charlotte, starts off like a slice of life only to become overambitious and unnecessarily overcomplicate things at the end. If the genre of the story i.e slice of life remained consistent throughout the story I woud have had given a higher score. But at most, I'll give a 7 due to the ending.
Art: 8/10
Solid animation but nothing too special either
...
Sound: 8/10
OP indicates that the anime will be packed with action, which mostly occurs during the last few episodes.
ED is 10/10 for me as it really gives off the slice of life kind of feel.
Character: 6/10
Mainly focuses around a few characters which makes it easier to keep track of the plot. MC deosn't have much character development till the last few episodes and invovles a rather drastic change at that. Could see some attempt at forging the relationships between the characters. However, personalities of characters were most 2-dimensional at most. (though some could arge it was not due to the end)
Enjoyment: 7/10
Could see others enjoying this if they go into this anime with an open mind, which means not expecting the show to be confied by the genre's MAL says it has.
Didn't enjoy this as much as I thought as it would. Would only recommend if you have
Overall: 7/10
I'll round it up to 7 because of how the rating system works. TLDR, art and sound were great, story and character not so much but still passable. If you enjoyed Charlotte you'll enjoy this, but if not then you'll find this average at most.

As an avid manga reader, I always thought that given how bad manhua was, I believed that the same could be applied to animation. Oh boy was I wrong.
Story:
Whenever time travel is invovled, it can either go well or horribly wrong. Unfortunately, most of the time it is the latter instead. This is what sets the show apart from the rest in how it deals with time travel well by making it easy to understand and logical.
Also, the show includes many life lessons that I find are applicable to many of us in real life. So its a definite yes when it comes
...
to learning something good from this donghua.
Art:
Pleasing art style, not over and top and kept nice and simple.
Sound:
OP and ED are absolute bangers
Character:
2 main characters that fit each other like ying and yang. Both complement each other's strengths and weaknesses well and the character development is easily a solid 8/10.
Enjoyment:
10/10 as it gave me a whole new outlook on donghua and enjoyed how they didn't introduce too many characters and decided to focus on developing a select few instead which made it all to more of a rollercoaster ride as one is able to resonate with characters a whole lot better.
Overall: Solid 8 but I'm going to give it 9 given how I couldn't find any significant flaws in the show but if i really had to nitpick, it would be that how they include a backstory so it took a couple of episodes to really get what exactly was going on. (probably just me given how clueless I am lol)
Tldr: A must watch if you want to see some drama(the good kind where there actually isn't pointless screaming and actual life lessons to be learnt instead)

I'll do my best to make this review short and sweet.
Story: When I realised it involved past warrios fighting a war in the modern world I was quite skeptical as it was something new. But the story managed to incorporate past and present elements so well that I can do nothing but give it its full credit.
Sound:
OP is a banger.
Ed is good but nothing special.
Character:
Compared to ubw and heaven's feel. There are several main charactrers instead. This allows more thorough insight of characters at the expense of viewing things from a single perspective which may be good or bad depending on your style.
Enjoyment: Enjoyable for
...
one who enjoys a bit of philosophy, mixed with a good balance of action and diagloue.
Overall: A solid 8 as the story and character development were good but how some characters got more screen time than others despite not being as interesting in my opinion is what prevents this show from getting a 10. The only logical reason would be that the writer will give them their deserved screen time in the next season istead.
Tldr: If you came here expecting the same level of action as ubw or heaven's feel, forget it as this is more of a seinen than shounen. If you enjoy philosophical dialogue mixed with some action, then this is a must watch

Story: Impressive and even better if one has watched ubw fate stay night as one is able to resonate with the feelings of Shirou even more.
Art: If you are expecting the art to be as good as ubw, unfortunately that's not the case but it is still decent.
Sound: Ending song was nice but other than that not much varation in sound effects.
Character: For a 90min movie, I'm glad that they chose to focus character development for a few as opposed to many. A must to watch ubw before this to enjoy this spin off even more.
Enjoyment: Enjoyed the dialogue though it was nothing
...
out of the ordinary but it was consistent and the story managed to leave a impact on my heart.
TLDR: Watch this after ubw and I would give this an 8/10 min 7/10 for how they maanged to fit a whole fate route into 90 minutes and still pull it off pretty well. Go give it a try I'm sure you will at least be able to gain some positives from it.
P.s. Don't watch this the day before an exam like me else you will find yourself wanting to keep fast forwarding the movie lol

'It's not about how you start a race, it's about how you finish it.' is a quote that I believe suits this show very well.
Story: Right from the start, one could tell that this show was clearly geared towards character development as opposed to fighting scenes. It may be slightly boring at the start as each episode involves lots of dialogue, but trust me, it gets better towards the end. This is when the quote I mentioned comes in, as the dialogue accumulated across the episodes makes the last 2-3 episodes much more meaningful as one is able to resonate with the character's feeling
...
much more.
Art: Consistent high-quality art throughout. Could do better with the fight scenes though as some of the CGI is obvious.
Sound: Not many soundtracks but the timing of when to play the OSTs was key.
Beautiful OP and ED too.
Character: 10/10. Watch the show urself as its hard to express it in words without spoilers.
Enjoyment: 8/10 as I felt sometimes there was unnecessary dialogue and whenever there was a fight scene I was wanted to get it over with quickly because it was quite repetitive in terms of action.
Overall:
TLDR: If u r looking for action, don't watch this. But if you enjoy character development, then watch this as it makes this show a solid 8/10

Non-spoiler review
Story: Similar to Gantz in terms of if being revolved around the death game. Minimal plot armour as most events are left to logical reasoning. Ending may be good or bad depending on how you interpret it. Personally, I felt like the ending was a big middle finger to the face and goes against one of the most important rules in storywriting. (Not gonna elaborate more on that as it would be spoiler worthy)
Art: Consistent good art style, but not anything extraordinary
Character: Wide variety of character personalities. However, some character tropes were left unexplored, possibly due to the surplus of characters at certain
...
points in the manga. So some discretion is required.
Enjoyment: If you enjoy thrilling psychological warfare, this is a must go. There is physical fighting in itself, but not on the level of the aforementioned.
Overall: A solid 8 as there were few loopholes, consistent pacing, and some epiphanies that I gained from this manga.
Tip: DO NOT READ THIS NEAR EXAMS, preferably during holidays as its quite addicting. Managed to read it in 2 days at the expense of my sleep.
