Man, I tried to give this a chance. I really did.
Redo of Healer is... An anime that HAD potential but squandered it while being so high on itself, that it launched into this revenge porn story that only incels could consider good. While most anime inspires with topics of forgiveness, friendship, and becoming a better human in general, this pile of garbage prides itself on rape scenes, vengance, and has no real arc or story to be found aside from "Gotta fuck 'em all to assert dominance over the people who were mean to me." Unapologetic trash that makes itself even worse by MC brainwashing
...
the main antagonist, so he can say and do shitty things to her newborn mind and get away with it. This anime is Appalling in every sense of the word. Don't waste your time on this garbage. MC hates a woman, he brainwashes and fucks her. MC saves a woman, he brainwashes and fucks her. I'm sure at this point you can see a pattern emerge, at this point. If you enjoyed this and or gave it a high rating, you should take a long hard look at yourself and figure out why you likely have no friends or people in your life who are close to you.
I have to go take a very hot shower after watching this to get the creepiness and self-blowing mindset off of me.

Re:Zero is an anime that has nothing to say, and it says it loudly.
Pretty much all the main characters are reduced to consecutive bloodbath fodder at the expense of legitimate character development. You are expected to feel empathy for characters that you learned the name of 3 seconds ago, and to be quite honest their personalities don't offer much.
Story: 3/10 Poor
What story? they keep you utterly in the dark for a majority of the series, give you nothing to want to move forward on. There's nothing going on in this world that can't be undone by the MC throwing himself off a cliff. 0 consequence,
...
super boring and the "story" goes nowhere slowly.
Art: 8/10 honestly probably the only good thing about this anime
Sounds: 7/10 on par with animation
Characters: 2/10 Dreadful
There is 0 character development. You are subjected to every main character's death so many times by the near-end of the series, you just don't care anymore because any death is consequence-free, and will likely just happen again, so you don't bother getting attached to them anyway.
Enjoyment: 2/10 Dreadful
Honestly, the "restart by death" trope gets old so fast. They rely on it so often it's annoying. There's no clear direction for the story, and even 2/3rds of the way into this series, you are still left with absolutely nothing to go on. For the sheer fact that there's anime that's 12 episodes long that is actually engaging and good, and yet you are still left with sweet FA understanding over 17 episodes in.
Overall: 3/10 Poor
Re:Zero is a show that relies on gore and shock value to be interesting. The story lags so far behind and throws no interesting elements into play. It's just a cycle of Subaru wakes up, Subaru gets into a really bad situation, sometimes with the other Cast members, Subaru dies, Subaru wakes up... rinse, repeat with progressively more brutal deaths. Save your time on this one. Just objectively bad.

Okay, here we go.
Imagine if you wrote a super cringe story with no unique legs of it's own. Plot that is blatantly uninspired, and outright tacky... "Race of gods are summoned at humanity's darkest hour to swoop in and save everyone and then conveniently lock and seal them all away until typical beak-nosed scientist comes along and ruins everything"
Now take that terrible story, and assign to it, a MC that is a 12-year old male lead with so much edge, it makes Cloud Strafe look like a pair of safety scissors. With a god complex and plot armour so thick you wouldn't be able to
...
find a relatable weakness with a guide book and a magnifying glass.
Okay, now take that bad story, and edgy MC, and wrap it up in a genuinely well-animated package.
What you have is this show.
It's blatantly edgy, to the point where you might want safety glasses on while you're watching it.
Graphic unrelated rape scene thrown in at the last scene of the first episode, for no other reason than shock value, I assume. Cause anime needs more of that, clearly.
Look, I'm not saying it's objectively bad, but I'm never getting the time back that I put in watching this molten garbage, and I can't recommend anyone else expose their senses to this level of filth without at least knowing what you're walking into.
At least they hired good animators, who obviously worked hard to try and give this heap some redeeming qualities.
