This series isn't done yet, but this is my impressions reading this thus far.
Juujika no Rokunin had a clear objective at the start, its a revenge story, and that is fine. It's pretty enjoyable to read at the start, the antagonists' are very bad I guess, what I'm trying to say is that we the audience hate them and that's really what matters. We want our main character to win in the end. Simple, but this story isn't as clear cut as that, it introduces major characters just for them to just turn evil or killed off in a really stupid way. I hate
...
that, such a waste to the story. This last few chapters have just been so fucking mid that everything I've talked about just doesn't matter anymore.
It's not that hard, just don't ruin what you've left out.

What a wild ride this season was, cannot wait for season 2 to air in a year or so. Coming off from the manga I will say that the Studio nailed this season and they even got Hikaru Utada for the Opening, I couldn't even believe it. For Starters if you are annoyed by some facts about this Series I would love to answer them, so I'll provide some common questions below.
(SPOILERS BELOW, WATCH THE ANIME FIRST)
- There are little hints here and there about the characters in this series, and touches that I don't think people notice, like
- The nameless boy has a
...
rope about him because he didn't want to be alone / lose Joaan again.
- Fushi put the nameless boy back in his chair.
- March actually decays in Parona's Arms, since traveling to Yanome took like a month or two.
- Fushi who learned from March first, took after her facial reactions, as seen in the first few episodes.
- "Paradise" as the black figure calls it seems like a place similar to heaven, that if you have the will you can turn back and wander the land of the living, like The bear, March and Gugu
- Speaking of Gugu, when Gugu experiments on Fushi with the fire, Fushi runs away while Gugu complains, but we find out Gugu got experimented on by "Booze Man" and Gugu runs away also, it's a great character moment and parallel that I don't see people mention.
- Gugu not wanting to be himself anymore gets crushed by the log and got his wish, of course not on purpose but it also gave him more than that, like a older brother, grandmother and grandfather, and even a Girlfriend
- When Gugu was crushed under the rubble, he was feeling so much pain that Fushi couldn't stop shaking, and moving, and Gugu just was assuring rean that everything was alright. Kinda crazy.
- The Knockers continue to learn throughout the series, showing that they have intelligence and can even listen, like the knocker that listened to Hayase once it was in her arm.
- The reason the balcony broke when Rean was confessing to Gugu was because Gugu was the biggest threat to the knockers, and he was virtually alone, with no Fushi around, so they took their chance to go after him first.
- Hayase from earlier episodes says "Death Brings Freedom" and she still goes by this line in the Jananda Arc.
- Fushi is like 12 years old in human years if you're counting his mental age throughout the series, Black Hood says he is about 14 after a couple of months on the island on the final episode. This is why he hesitates and doesn't make the best decisions. He is just a kid at the end of the day, who has lost way more than most people.
- Tonori after getting "poisoned" multiple times, once when Fushi gave Tonari's gang the bowl of ramen actually wakes up quicker than anyone else, I see people just sayings it's a cliché type of thing that moves the plot since she's the main girl in this arc, but it's hinted at, Like when she wakes up earlier in Skyfishe's ship and wakes up when Hayase holds her over the burnt corpses. This comes in to play later, her poison resistance.
- Fushi is able to feel other people's pain, people he has experienced stimulation with
- On the final episode Pioran gets tells the black hood to reincarnate her, and to translate what he says, it's basically, "Before you die I'll take you, imagine yourself to be whatever you want before you go"
Okay Well I've already shown my Love for this series. The manga is in my top 5 so I read a lot into the episodes. My love stems from that every Person that Fushi meets on his journey will eventually die, as he is immortal, and every person will give him some sort of lesson, some sort of emotion or meaning. It's very sad in a while that time passes so fast and everyone you see is behind you.
Oh and I haven't even talked about how March, The Bear, and Gugu have been following fushi this entire time. The fact that All three of them, once they realize that Fushi isn't in their Paradise, they leave it to follow him.
It's beautiful, this whole Season is, and my god I cannot wait for Season 2.
9 / 10 for me, but when Season 2 airs, I hope that I'll be able to give it a 10.

It's finally time, been waiting for Fujimoto's one shot for a while and here we are.
(Spoilers below)
Story - The story is fairly simple, Fujino loves to draw for her school's newspaper, everyone in her class adores her art, then her teacher tells Fujino that another student would also like to submit a comic strip for her school's newspaper. Kyomoto, the new newspaper artist stuns the class as Fujino gets jealous since her arts is barely average compared to Kyomoto's. Soon both of them meet and pair up, writing manga together. The story isn't complicated at all and tells a story of two manga artists coming
...
together. This made the read very easy.
Art - Fujimoto's art is on full display here, showing incredible backgrounds, line etching and paneling. I'm pretty sure he's improved on his art since Chainsaw Man, he's just getting better.
Characters -
Fujino - A pretty cocky middle schooler at first, who wants to be the best student at drawing, even drawing for years and years just to try and become better than Kyomoto, while she easily gives up her dream of drawing becuase she can't catch up to Kyomoto's amazing backgrounds. As time passes and Fujino and Kyomoto pair up to become manga artists, both of them start to have a connection. Working extremely hard for multiple one shots and finally getting serialized. When Kyomoto wants to leave Fujino lashes out at Kyomoto and tells her to say and draw with her. I believe that Fujino didn't mean any ill intentions but instead wanted her to say, and not leave her side. Even after Kyomoto dies, it affects Fujino so much that she wants to stop drawing completely, calling drawing "stupid".
Kyomoto - Kyomoto is introducted as a rival to Fujino, even having way better backgrounds and art in general. Shutting herself in her room all day and night because she's scared of people, the only person she really will come out of her room for is Fujino. A true fan she complients Fujino's drawings, while she doesn't relalize that her drawings are much better. This is what makes the two become manga artists. Kyomoto draws the backgrounds while Fujino draws the characters, a perfect combination which given they're middle schoolers. They even win honorable mentions. Eventually getting serialized. Kyomoto thanks Fujino for making her come out of her room, she is still a little scared of people but it's been alleviated. Once she picks up a book about background art and how beautiful and it can be, Kyomoto doesn't want to get serialized and wants to go to an art school. Eventually the two part ways. Kyomoto still buys every single volume of Shark Kick which is Fujino's manga. She hasn't lost touch but wants to better herself, she gets into college, and is able to attend lessons. Not stuck in her room anyone.
Enjoyment - Yeah I really enjoyed this one shot. My favorite part would have to be when Fujino is asked "Then why do you draw" while Fujimoto's paneling is focusing on the link, delving deeper on the page. Amazing Paneling. Really showed the relationship of the artists and manga in general.
Overall - If for some reason you read all of this and haven't read Look Back, then I suggest you read it right now. 9/10 for me.
If you don't agree with me, then go ahead and speak your mind.

Disclaimer here, I am no means a critic, right now it's actually pretty hard to figure out my thoughts here so bare with me here.
This. This right here is my favorite anime of all time. I have watched this anime about 3-4 times and I have wondered if I was just being based or not but I just love it to death. For some context here, if you're reading my review and haven't decided to watch it then please do, I don't want to ruin the moments in this anime so yes, watch it.
STORY -----------
Here we go - When I first watched
...
this anime, I thought the first 12 episodes were a little slow, but over time I found out why. The first 12 is just you getting to know the cast, classic world building and for me anyway it worked. The main point where Mayuri getting shot is so expertly done to where it wasn't out of nowhere but very subtle. To prove my claim it would be SERN. We the audience know how powerful SERN is and how they will control the time travel market going forward so it's no surprise that they are behind it. The magic is that Okabe knows this, he gets texts telling him how he's being watched and even gets a picture of a severed doll's head. It's beyond creepy and that's the point why Okabe would not want to go public with the Time Leap machine. I know that in this point of the anime us, the people watching would wish that Okabe should use the time leap machine and see what happens. And the story throws you on your head and kills Mayuri, a huge loss to the plot and development. We have spent the entire 12 episodes focusing on the characters. Mayuri's death shows the that the time leap machine actually works. We're glad to see Okabe using it but at what cost?
Time and time and time again Okabe tries to save Mayuri to no avail. The thing that I love about this series is that Okabe is just such a great main character. Liked from the beginning of the show to the end. He feels real about the choices he makes and he makes as much mistakes as we do. Now yeah this review is pretty jumbled but I'm thinking out loud here.
Oh have I even mentioned the writing of this show? No? Don't even get me started here. (Yes I know it's based off the Visual Novel) Prove me wrong but every single plot point is proven and woven into the story so seamlessly. Stuff you see from episode 1 seems so insignificant like how Kurisu tells Okabe that he tried to talk to before than you see it in episode 23 and IT ALL MAKES SENSE! I fucking love this series so much. You learn so much and when it comes altogether, it creates this masterpiece. When Okabe and Kurisu kiss for the first time Okabe tells Kurisu that it's not his first kiss, well this is pretty common but when shown the movie, IT'S ACTUALLY KURISU WHO KISSES HIM IN THE PAST. My god that is so cool. Hopefully you can see my point now. This story is something special that really changed me after I watched it. (OmG ThIs ChAnGeD mY LifE) Throughout your time with this show, you're shown that time travel is something not to be messed with. A simple line of text can change events that you don't even know existed. This would be even more so in Steins;Gate 0 but this is about Steins;Gate. A single Upa causes WWIII to happen or not. This single thing that Mayuri drops sparks something so bad man. Throughout Steins;Gate Okabe loses the IBM and he needs to get it back, and to get it back, it's time to retrace your steps by undoing each D-Mail to do so. The fact that each time that this anime goes, it goes back and forth. Kurisu was supposed to die but since Okabe sent a text message to Daru he accidentally created the first D-Mail and what do you think that means, he needs the IBM so the lab raid doesn't happen but doing so saves Mayuri but kills Kurisu again. They brought back this plot point from Episode 1 mind you and brings it up again. This is so awesome. His moral dilemma really hit hard. When he chooses to sacrifice Kurisu and save Mayuri It really made me cry so hard. I'll get to the characters in a minute but yeah. I haven't cried so hard in an anime for a while. I would only do this if it truly grasped me and sucked me into this world. I wouldn't really say that a sucker for 10s, a fact for this would be giving Your Name a 7. When I give something a 10, it sold me. It made me feel something. I can surely say that this did just that.
CHARACTERS -----------
Makise Kurisu is the star of the show for me here. A first look at here would be the typical Tsundere but a little less and just mean sometimes. Yeah this was the case for the first couple of episodes but this anime ain't like this. Each time Okabe would just call her Christina just because he couldn't even pronounce her name right is hilarious. The continue banter between these two is pure gold every time they are on screen. Over the course of the series they become really good friends but the type where they would be mean in public then nice behind their backs. It's all the more better when Okabe needs her help to save Mayuri. He isn't behind his Hououin Kyouma Persona but he desperately needs her help. It throws you for a loop. You even find out he developed this persona for Mayuri and in the movie, it tells you that Makise is the ONE WHO GAVE HIM THE IDEA. Again this series is so good. Now back to Makise, behind her demeaner she will show a little more about herself and we find out about her relationship with her dad and how severe it's gotten. Okabe agrees to help her, if this were the Okabe from episode 5 or so he probably wouldn't care that much. And when he calls her a precious friend it's even more impactful. When people talk about their feelings to such a degree it's just beautiful.
For the little lines for every other character then here's some for Mayuri. Mayuri is a breath of fresh air for this series. She is so wholesome and the only one who knows what is actually going on. Mayuri isn't as smart as everyone else but she knows what is precious and holds on to that. She is the driving force for Okabe and Okabe is her driving force also. She saves him as many times as he has tried to save her.
Daru doesn't get a lot of development and that's reserved for 0. But he does get some as in Suzuha. His future daughter. And he the one who actually built the time machine to send her. He's the typical fat otaku who loves his 2D girls. He is the comic relief as he says comments towards Kurisu and Makise, and I got to admit, he is funny sometimes. The "Super Hacker".
Most of the minor characters such as Luka or anime onlys "Ruka", Suzuha (I don't really consider her minor but I don't care), Moeka and Faris.
I got to say Faris did get some development in this series to, the dynamic between her and her dad was something special. The whole cause of the D-Mail was to save her dad, and this was noble, kind of sad actually.
ART -----------
The art was basic, nothing outstanding but it had some really good moments as when Okabe got the text and thought something might of happened to Mayuri, the whole black and white was stunning.
This series doesn't need that good animation but I would say that it's really good. Nothing insane but nothing bad either.
SOUND -----------
Holy shit is every song in the anime and the LN so good? The Op and End are unskippable and every song in the background and in the OST in general is top notch.
Yeah I really really enjoyed this anime. It brought me tears, laughter and memories. That was pretty deep huh

I'm not really a critic who knows every deep meaning, reading manga is for entertainment and I got it with Gantz.
I don't really want to write a long review but if someone reads this then I suggest you read Gantz for yourself. The whole concept is weird, really fucking weird. All the Immigrants (Aliens) are incredibly weird, everything is weird.
My Favorite Part of this story is the characters. Especially Kuroro. He's our main protagonist and the most reliable MC. At first anyway, but the character development is fantastic. His relations with Tae are also wholesome and we must protect her. We have a
...
incredibly likeable cast.
Towards the end the whole point system kind of gets thrown away cuz of reasons. Like I said, read Gantz and stop reading my review.
(Now I'll spoil some stuff so yeah)
Time after Time I've heard people criticize Gantz's ending but I'm a sucker for happy ones. Gantz deliverers and I'm so glad almost everyone survived. The whole God dude from the room was kinda freaky and he killed my favorite old man in the whole manga. Fuck him dude.
We have some strong female leads here too. This is seinen so yeah, some rape happens and I understand the whole adult tone this was going for but I just didn't like it. Not to say I can't handle it, to me it's unnecessary unless it's during a pivotal moment in the story. I'm lazy so I wanna stop typing this up.
Final thoughts.
Loved the twist and turns the story took, it's cool how the immigrants (aliens) were just trying to live and also had feelings. Loved the characters and the development between them. The ending hit me hard after they all survived.
I'm probably wrong about the 9/10 but I don't care.

Before I delve into this whole story I would Like to say that this is purely a movie. Meaning it only has so much time to finish up the story in a satisfying way. I believe it accomplished this but at the cost of the run time. I don't really have a problem with movies, it just makes me wish that we could know more. A good example of a movie done right is A Silent voice. I won't explain any further since this is my review of a different anime. If this whole movie was adapted into a couple of seasons then I
...
would've broke. If all of the characters backstories were introduced and it slowly took it's time then my eyes wouldn't of lasted.
Story -
I'm disappointed of how much info we got regrading this. I've said previously that it's a movie so we get what we get. There is so much that I would of loved to learn, about their origin, and more about the red eye disease. I know it was hinted at being about their emotions being bottled up but it could of gone more in depth. There is so much about this world that we don't know. So there are dragons but what else, monsters? Magic? well we don't really know. Would've been awesome to get more world building.
Art -
Holy shit was it beautiful I want to give it a ten but at some points the CGI distracts from the overall experience. All the landscapes and animations were so fucking good. This is a strength of being a movie, since you're able to take your time and not have to worry about a hard deadline to meet.
Sound -
The Ost was soothing and felt really good to listen to. Especially the credits really hit home, the music here was used correctly but we didn't have enough information.
Characters -
This is where my main criticism comes in. The audience didn't see much about anyone, even on the island where the start takes place, we are just placed there, not really knowing anyone and why should we care in the first place. If there is a character whom I don't really know his story or his emotions then I just don't give a shit. Kinda like Krim. Hopefully I spelled it right. The anime can take it's time for character development and that should of been how this was made.

This will be short but, don't let this long series turn you off. Every arc is masterfully crafted and the characters all belong in their respective arcs. Even people foreshadowed will be seen later and nothing is left untouched. The Power System that will be used after the time skip which is half way is foreshadowed in like ch 10 (I don't know what chapter). Each character have their own respective arcs which will bring their development Especially "Sanji". I will not spoil anything but This is one of the greats along with berserk and that's saying something.
While I'm writing this review I am
...
not caught up but I'm dreading finishing this series and I know it will be spectacular.

The first start of this series is amazing, it's a very tense thriller, and you're scared to see if it's even possible to escape from the grace field house, I would say that the writing is top notch and keeps you on your toes. Of course the kids do escape and then what?
They must survive, the whole thriller aspect of the series is lost and that's what turned people off but what else could they do? There are demons out there trying to kill them and you must defend yourself. They aren't sheltered like in the grace-field arc. The ending left me satisfied since I
...
really loved the characters. The whole point of this story is your family and that was in the first arc as well since Emma wanted to escape with everyone.
People can say that it was rushed after the grace-field arc but I don't believe it. When Norman got shipped out, it didn't even show him getting eaten, and left us at a cliff hanger. Why would the series end right there? The new mature tone suits the "kill or be killed" world they have been in. William Minerva effortlessly sunk in the story well, and still including it after they escaped. The writing is consistent and I like that. This review is getting kinda long but I would say that I really enjoyed the series. Of course I have minor complaints, but their goal was fulfilled and it feels good.

Honestly, some of the characters here are just full on retarded so it's good that they grow along with the story. The OP is un-skippable and so is the ending, the art stays consistent but never blew me away. The one thing that did stand out was how the way feelings and parents were treated. It wasn't just oh my son died, time to move on. It feels real how they reacted. Uh, I don't know what else to talk about but if you wanna cry and sit down in your bed for a couple hours thinking about this then watch it
