To summarize what I'm about to write, there is blatant colorism from the beginning of the manga and the story is pretty generic for the shojo isekai genre. There are plenty of other stories that are heaps better than this one in every aspect.
The main character, Claudia Letsya is a reincarnated person from our world who has knowledge of the novel she landed in. She is blessed with a spirit guardian that happens to be the Dark Spirit King and for some reason, that means that she is born with black hair and darker skin. Her dark features alone are constantly pointed out as

undesirable and she is constantly discriminated against because of her skin. Looking at the volume covers, when you see how lightly her skin is colored there, it's almost laughable that people have a problem with it. She just looks really tan.
Discrimination is viewed as bad by the characters we are supposed to like, including the love interest, but the main character herself says they like her despite her appearance. The attitude towards her skin doesn't change for the most part until she engages in a battle and becomes a sort of hero to the people. And then the first compliment she gets from a stranger is that she looks "exotic". This is all before the most disgusting thing happens in the story.
There is also a Light Spirit King that is supposed to bless the original main character in the story. She ends up being an insufferable character that no one likes and the Light Spirt King grants Claudia some healing powers. Right after she received them, her skin turned white. According to the translation team, the Japanese fans caused an uproar and had Claudia's skin remain darker, so the rest of the story goes back to that. That however does not excuse the story for doing this in the first place. It's based on a light novel like most isekai stories are, so the source material of course kept her lightened skin. I don't think I have to explain how problematic this idea is. I couldn't get it out of my mind as I kept reading that she was supposed to become white after that. Her parents try to make amends and everyone loves her then. Her love interest finally confesses his feelings for her. All of that happens after that change.
I don't want to write much more about this but I'd like to touch up on the other aspects of the manga. The story is pretty generic amongst the other "I got reincarnated as a villainess" stories. I would argue that Claudia is still one of the weaker MCs though. The art at first glance is pretty good, but it isn't very consistent and it's especially glaring when it comes to the eyes. I don't think anyone should give it the time of day and instead find something better to read.
