Ah, Sword Art -- I finally finished the legendary anime series that is acclaimed by so many.
And it turned out that this so loved anime is actually kind of terrible; I'm not going to lie -- it may have a lot to do with me going into it with all the great comments my friends gave it and everyone suggesting it, my expectations were too high.
Basically the only relevant characters on the cover picture are Kirito, Egil, Klein, and Asuna. Those other girls? yeah they're all in like 1 episode each really and that's it.
What bugged me is I went in with the thought
...
that it was just a cool game they've gotta get out of -- wow that's a cool story BUT THEY PUT A FRICKIN HAREM IN IT -- WHY??
It just baffled me -- the lack of equality between genders in the show -- like Asuna appears to be really strong and independent but Kirito ends up fighting all kinda of battles for her like she's some kind of prize meant to be won which annoyed the hell out of me -- if you're going to be an independent female then BE AN INDEPENDENT FEMALE.
The whole second arc is shit. They totally went off subject and I only finished it for the sake of finishing it. It switches goals from trying to get out of SAO to a lame goal of trying to save Asuna from a different game and so many unnecessary characters come into play.
I'm sorry, I can't take 16 year old love seriously. I guess I can understand wanting to save your friend and shit but he went over the top and they acted like their love was the end all love, like no you've still got so much time to discover yourself
My advice is to watch it since it is so central to the anime community BUT go in with low expectations and don't take it seriously at all -- take it with a grain of salt. That's what you get when you come out of watching something deep and meaningful like Evangelion and go into something like SAO with absolutely nothing underneath it.

Alright people this review is gonna have some coarse language so just a forewarning. Imma make this short and crazy just like this fucking show, so strap in your seat belts, bitches.
So basically what you're getting yourself into here is very very VERY softcore porn. Like if you're lookin to jack it/ jill it then go watch discipline or something because the action in this is very minimal- at least compared to what I've seen.
ALERT! This show is like DMMD or Togainu no Chi and shit like that (minus yaoi, add straight hentai, more just ecchi)- in that there's basically an intro storyline and then
...
he gets with a girl then it "ends(like happily ever after end w/dat chick)" at episode 4, then episode 5 is going back and making a different decision and end up with a different girl.
There honestly is a story but idk who fuckin watches these shows for that, so that's why I gave fair for the story because there is back story and a plot- it just all revolves around this one guy getting laid. Which idk why this slopabottomus is gettin any poontang bc son looks like a bottom out of a yaoi.
OMG the art was great though. That's what pulled me in originally. It's beautiful animation, except for all the tits being ginormous but this is a SEINEN which is marketed towards men so theres that.
Sound- I really don't care about soundtrack but I gave it a 9 bc it wasn't bad singing idk don't ask me about this.
I enjoyed it alright, parts of it nearly gave me a heart attack but other than that it was good- very dense and something you can probs finish in a day like I did.
For an ecchi, this isn't that bad. You don't see any of his junk but you see titties and that's it- no vagina for you comrade.

K-On! is probably one of my all time favorite animes. It's so fun and so very cute!
I enjoyed the dubbed version, despite the criticism it receives- I think the voices matched the characters very well. This anime is outstanding mostly because of the relationships the girls were able to develop. Not only that but you can't help but love them.
Ritsu and Mio are already friends in the beginning but you can see their bond grow as well as with the other girls. Yui is the cutest character ever, she gets distracted and she just finds ways to keep them all together even though
...
she messes up more often than not.
The only flaws in this anime was that their parents were always gone- for the entire anime. I mean, that happens in a lot of animes but, c'mon, do their parents really like travelling more than seeing their daughters grow up? (mainly referring to Ui and Yui).
At the very end I cried my eyes out- it was just so perfect. I really recommend this anime if you're into Hetalia or perhaps Lucky Star, because even though there is a plot, it moves very slow and some episodes are random- but you get used to it!!

Ah, Death Note...I really recommend this anime...to basically...anyone...
I'm one of those otaku that like the girly girl anime- shoujo or BL for this girl...very typical. And I saw a lot of Death Note on anime sites but I never tried it because it didn't look like my kind of thing...I sure was wrong though!
It's not scary! It's more like a mystery, and that's what pulled me in. At the end of each episode there was a cliffhanger which made it so I HAD to watch the next episode. It's one of those "just-one-more-episode" types of animes.
The story is solid, the main character, Light Yagami,
...
has an actual motive. Although I will say that once Mello and Near come into the picture, well, even Light says himself that it's not as fun. But I had to watch it to the very end.
It's the type of anime that will put you on the edge of your seat and keep you wanting more. L is a great character and so is Light's father, surprisingly, since most anime parents are constantly 'out of town'.
I will admit that I hated Misa at first but you eventually get used to her and I sort of respected her toward the end. Things can get frustrating toward the middle of the series but keep with it! The end is well worth it~

STRAIGHT ACROSS 10'S!!
Yes, this anime IS awesome and I highly recommend it!
Even if you're a straight male or a girl that doesn't like yaoi- this is simply shonen-ai; for those of you looking for sexierness...the manga will definitely quench your thirst...PLUS it's ongoing.
The backstory is touching and you actually feel for the characters- the ups and downs of love. Every kiss scene in movies is PERFECT, like all of a sudden everyone's good at kissing? Was there a worldwide class I missed? But in SIH, Ritsu was not so good at kissing in the beginning. He always pressed his lips tightly together.
Okay- if that's not
...
something you can relate to...then I DONT KNOW WHAT IS!
It's so much more than sexy sex or lovey love or kissy kisses (while all those components are nice) it's also about falling in love- real love.
It's about growing up and trying to find your niche in life. And then once you're settled you find the man of your dreams, this is a story about falling in love...for amateurs. Since it gets awkward, like every relationship does....especially if your boss is poundin' you in the ass...
Outstanding job by Shungiku Nakamura. His talents are amazing- not only did he create Junjou Romantica (WHICH IS AMAZING) but he also made this masterpiece!!
Only bad thing ever about this: THE LEDGENDARY YAOI HANDS
...ya, they exist.

Alright people, I'm givin' you the cold hard truth about this anime!
If you DONT like draumatic girls, mean girls, love triangles, stupid misunderstandings, or anything high school drama related LEAVE NOW.
Ya. This anime has all of those things. After this anime, I realized that I don't like the generalized love triangle shows or the mean girl, stabbing backs drama.
If you like that stuff then this anime is for you! My sister absolutely adores this anime but I don't see it as that great- maybe that's why I'm being so lenient.
At any rate, it's worth a try and there aren't many episodes. I thought it was
...
a little high school cliché, which usually makes me wanna vomit, but I watched it all the way through.
Plus the art is adorable.
