Honestly, after every chapter, I debate whether I should drop this manga or not.
This is one of most extreme and dark ones I've ever read. The title really doesn't do any justice because of adding the P.S. part in it.
So far 7 chapters in and the focus is on the tormented childhood of the MC. It's heartwrenching and suffocating to watch her misery unfold..
I'm proud of the mangaka for sharing her story, but I'm honestly not sure of how much I can recommend it to others.
It sure mess up your heart and brain and leave you feeling gloomy, depressed, and helpless.
Realizing once more how cruel ... people more like monsters could get...

I've been putting reading Secret Lady for so long now because I wasn't a fan of art since it sometimes felt sloppy, ithers too messay.
Now that I've finally gave it a try I'm so glad I did!
The story is quite fresh and different from all the isekais I've read so far. It has quite the dark setting and I've been on the verge of crying a few times. I love the main characters they have great chemistry and a balanced power dynamic.
My only problem right now is the flashbacks (so far 5 chapters) that have waay too much magic lore -lore enjoyers will be ... ecstatic-, I love reading about corporate BS but I can't bring myself to read about magic nonesense unless it is extremely intriguing which most of the times isn't for me.

Overall : 8/10
+I LOVE LOVE LOVE the story and all the main characters!
+ It has ovee 95 chapters and reaching 80+ will give you kind of a season finale which was a great story on its own.
- Rarely, plot devices are used in sucha blunt way that will leave us feeling stupid.
- The art someitmes gets too messy, or feel sloppy but overall it is a great match for the story and most of the major scenes look AMAZING.

It has been a WHILE since I last enjoyed a manhwa this much! Especially when it comes to the "waking up in a book" troupe.
It's so funny, intense, and intriguing!

Story 8/10:
The story is solid. It is full of unique elements and deals with cliches in new ways! (My only complain is that chapter one doesn't give it any justice. It was the reason I never got interest in reading it before.

Characters 10/10:
The FL takes it all! She's not always protected with the plot armor, always developing and learning from her mistake, and a cute sunshine.
The other characters are good and are all entertaining to ... watch, but the FL is on a different level.

Enjoyment 12/10:
It really has been SO LONG since I had this much excitement when I'm reading. The only downsides I would say are, the excessive deduction style (the "why are you looking at me like that?", "how am I looking?" "You are looking like blah blahblah" "why do you think that?"... it gets boring the 10th time it is used),and the excessive discussion of politics and tactics which in rare cases is hard to follow when reading in the middle of the night.

Art 6/10:
The art was great at the start but soon started going down hill. At chapter 116 I'm kinda disappointed at to where we are, comparing it to the earlier chapters. However, I'm waay too invested in the story to stop reading because of this, since it didn't ruin the experience yet.

If only it wasn't for the abrupt ending I would have rated this a solid 8.
But honestly the ending felt like a clif hanger I hated it, totally ruined the mood.

Story 9/10:
A depressing story about portraying a horrible group of friends and their journey I guess to adult hood.
The atory is unique, and I loved its premise. The atmosphere is obviously gloomy but the comedy and tiny cutesy moments are really good. However, late season2 to 3 just ruins all the good build up of the story.

Characters 7/10:
The characters are obviously a horrible bunch but they are charming at first then some get really ... annoying and even more horrible as time passes that they don't feel human anymore. More like the extras thugs that get rented for gigs.

Enjoyment 8/10:
I really enjoyed the 1st season! It was great until things started going downhill. The focus on some characters being so selfish and bshy was too much and there wasn't really anymore development in the story just gloomy drama until the very end.

I do recommend this after reading fluff for a while, but it honestly doesn't holds its ground if we compare it with similar manga like the Butterfly one and the Cherry one.

I came in with low expectations, but was surprised with how entertaining Tora to Ookami is!

Characters 8/10:
The characters are extremely amusing. FL is cute, funny, confident, and has great interactions with everyone.
The other cast are all interesting too. Ookami is kinda of cliche but is still extremely funny and lovable! Tora and the girl-friend aren't your average shoujo characters.

Settings: 7.5/10
The resturant setting is quite refreshing.

Entertainment: 9/10
... The story isn't your cliche love story but it still holds the Shoujo elements of falling in love and the 2nd and 3rd leads.
If I had to rate the story I would give it a 7/10.
But the entertainment is a total 9/10! I would have given an overall 9 if it wasn't for some cringy situations, maybe with more to come I will update the score.

If you enjoyed that one manga where a girl lives in a shared house and has great chemistry with the landlord with all the bickering and familial atmosphere you will definitely love Tora to Ookami!

Alpenrose, Alpenrose~ this song is the best thing aside from the art can this anime offer.
I didn't want to be harsh on a personally classic nostalgic show that I once thought it was great and even now I can't bring myself to rate it below 7 even though in reality it would be a mediocre 5 😅

Story: 3/10
+ The story is really interesting and the setting is too but thr execution and show length made it a terrible mistake.
- The plot has alot and I mean ALOT of stories and twists to tell for a 20 episodes show! If Alpenrose have been a 100 episodes ... anime I think it would have been a solid 9! Because the length of the episodes gives no room to do anything and the writers fill each episode with a new twist without even trying to solve the rest. Which ended up by solving everything through luck. Can you imagine how almost EVERYTHING that happens is pure luck! Characters get their motivations and dreams through luck too.
They always get away from danger through luck. They go out in broad daylight without wearing anytype of disguise and somwhow they are never captured even though they have posters with their face on all around cities!

Characters: 7/10
+ Here is the part where I I become biased. The characters are flipflop cookie cutter flat but I don't know why they are LOVABLE! I love all the gang and even the side characters thatshow up once or twice for a plot device and then disappear for internity.. like if they meant nothing just off with them and make more screentime to develop the stuffed plot!
- ON THE OTHER SIDE, when it comes to villains it's not the case at all. One of the biggest fails in the anime is Villains. They are wacky, cocky, good for nothing, disgusting, and inconsistent.

Art: 9/10
+ The art is really beautiful! Most of the characters have beautiful looks and hair! Always dressed neatly and nice. As of all the old classics Alpenrose's art is one of my favorites! It really ages well and the animation isn't as bad considering the age of it. It's obviously the main reason I rated the show so high.

Enjoyment: 6/10
+ The art and characters are a joy if you're into old anime shoujos.
+ the music was really nice and captivating. I loved the flute piece that Laundi and Judi play. Love the Alpeenrose~Alpenrose song, and of course whenever Leon plays anything.
- The stuffed undeveloped plot that makes it seem ss if the episodes have been truncated from 1.5 hours to 20min is somewhat hard to sit through.
- The discomfort we are left to feel after knowing Judi is 12 or younger with all the things that she goes through and does!

Recommend: Yes, if you're into old shoujo classic and appreciate the 80s art, want to enjoy the good music, and if you don't mind to fill in the gaps inbetween episodes.
No, if you want a worthy classic old shoujo, there are far better ones.

This special -too short to be a movie- is purely a recap of events from ep1 till about episode 60 with only an encapsulation of it through an introductory frame and a closing frame!
I honestly found no need for this new girl that was introduced since she had zero contribution to anything, the special could have used an already introduced kid and nothing would have changed. Maybe would even have saved more tine for the recap.

□ Should you watch it?
■The recap was nothing special, if you have recently watched the recapped episodes you wouldn't really feel the need to watch it but it's still ... good to sit through and remember all the horrible and the little happy events that Candy went through. Also, if you miss someone who appeared in the first arc but nolonger show up you would enjoy it.

□ Would this special be a good starting point if someone wants to skip the starting episodes to reduce their watch time?
■ No, I find the first 30 episodes part to be the best part of this long series, because the series honestly starts to go even more nuts as time progress with Candy, we get many undeveloped events and characters...

□ Is it enough to understand the main story?
■ Yes, but without your attachment to the story that needed all the time the episodes took you won't really enjoy the series much and I doubt you would want to see the rest.

Overall: 7/10 same rating I have for the series of course.

A capturing fairytale like story, kinda messy, but once you start uncovering the mysteries of its world you can't just stop.

Story: 5/10
This story had enormous potential but plot holes -more like plot caves- made it a tidy bit less enjoyable. If only it would get adopted by Studio Ghibli! They would fix it into the masterpiece gem it should have been~
There are things covered up by the mystery element, but alot of others are just neglected of any explanation or cover up. (For example how they used the "the world will know" to stop one of their chasers but at the same time they do ... alot of crazy things that makes them 100% known by the world!)

Characters: 8/10
The characters are one of the most interesting ones I've read in a fairytale world since I'm not sure when.
You get quite the interesting cast mixed of humans and mystical creatures.

Art: 8/10
The art is beautifully fitting to the atmosphere. It reminds me of one of my all time favorites "your letter".

Enjoying: 9.9/10
Even with all the unexplained and ignored plot holes, I can't say I wasn't so invested in reading this - binging it on one go- , while going through all kinds of emotions.

Plot:
Everything is illogical, that it's obvious the writer isn't even trying.. from events existence to solutions of problems, things just get magically done to make the story move. And what's worse is not even trying to cover it with comedy or something 🙃

Characters:
The guys are handsome, but barely have any distinguishable personalities.
Ina is so beautiful and confident but dumb and just goes with the flow most of the time. The only appealing aspect is her looks cuz she changes outfits frequently, and her so called crush who's the most good-looking of all the cast.

Art:
Pretty and is the reason for reading that far, but ... the proportions are out of order in alot of scenes, that honestly was the only comedic aspect of this manhwa.

Enjoyment:
It's not even interesting enough to keep me reading. I'm only rating it 5/10 cuz the art is pretty -though some guys look awkward-

[I'm keeping my review from the time I finished it as is, since I find it more genuine to what I felt finishing the webtoon.. in short]

I can't find the words, I'm in daze since I just finished this up ~

The mystery, thriller, and issues that this webtoon deals with are no joke! Especially when it comes to mental health, the way it's depicted in the panels is incredible.
Although I was kinda bothered by the art change halfway through, it thankfully didn't affect my experience of reading, and so the score of such a jewel!

The characters are well written and you can totally feel their ... emotions and live what they are going through.

I would recommend binge reading it in one go.
