It doesn't require a lot of insight to see how these two movies are related. Made by the same director under the same studio, Liz to Aoi Tori takes the same cinematographic and thematic themes from Koe no Katachi applied on to a different universe. Together with their characters they embark on a journey of acceptance and self-discovery. An award winning formula in which can only be best described as "if it isn't broken, then no need to try and fix it".

Male leads given name is Shuu, they have almost the same haircuts and share similar character traits. They have female companions with pink hair and supernatural abilities. Together they take on missions and fight against the evil. Good animation, polished visuals and beautiful sound. Does this seem familiar to you? After watching just the first episode you'll realise how eerily similar these series are to one another. Chances are that if you enjoyed one, you'll definitely feel right at home with the other.

If you liked Nagi no Asu kara add

...then you might like Tenki no Ko add

Both of these are very emotional and romance forcused. They also strongly resemble each other from a story perspective. Those who have watched both of these will know exactly what i mean. I can't go into detail of exactly what for spoiler reasons. But i think it's safe to say that if you watched and enjoyed one of these two, then i'm sure you're going to like the other. I personally couldn't take my mind away from Nagi no Asu kara while watching Tenki no Ko just due to how similar they are. The two of these also feature soundtracks which i think they did a really great job with, if you are a music/sound enthusiast then i don't think you'll be left disappointed watching either of these.

Both of these series gives of a similar kind of vibe, funny and relaxing but yet dramatic and serious at the same time. While watching 5-toubun i couldn't stop thinking of Toradora. Both Fuutarou and Ryuuji are very similar male leads in terms of looks and personalities.

Both series are about a group of children who grows up together and who have strong bonds between each other. If you liked the relations and the great friendship that was between the characters then i think that you may take a liking to this series as well.
