The best thing about Ichigo 100% is that you can't even begin to describe the qualities that make it so great. All you can really do is read it and to get involved with the story... then at the end you'll understand how powerful it was through your emotions.
Many elements of the plot moved me, but by far, the most impressive part of this manga is the ending.... it's probably the best ending that could be created to this manga. I know many people hate Ichigo 100% because of the ending, but on the other hand, I liked the ending, and I think Manaka made
...
the right choice.
Some faults still lay in it, like the overuse of cliche ecchi scenes (but the occurrence of them is scarce compared to other romance mangas like Love Hina).
However.. the unique and touching plot completely covers up these trifle mistakes, which is why I give this manga a perfect 10.

I loved it.
The story is about a mentally damaged young girl, and how she slowly comes out of her shell, and blossoms into a successful young woman, with help from her friends and the person she eventually falls in love with.
I found the premise strange at first. OK, so she failed as a child actor. Big deal. Is that really something to mope about for years? But I just kept reading and soon realized that it's really just a plot device for the mangaka to address her message. The story carries a strong hopeful message for all the teenagers out there making their way into
...
adulthood. In lesser hands, it could've read like some pandering afterschool special. But Kamio created such an awesome foursome of characters, they immediately draw you into the story, and before you know it, you're hooked. While there is romance, the main focus is on growing up and finding your way in life. And it's so refreshing to see teenage characters seriously tackle these challenges and slowly grow into successful adults.
I absolutely adored the foursome's friendship. It felt real and relatable. Rarely does manga capture the dynamics of friendship - with all its glory and pain - so well.
And this manga is addicting - especially when the romance kicks in. The main couple is not obvious from the get-go. And they both matured on their own before finally getting together, which is a major plus in my book. I loved the moment when they finally confessed their feelings to each other.
Admittedly, there is melodrama and contrivance in the story, but they're all used to service the manga's main message. And Yoko Kamio surprised me with the way she executed them. There is maturity and sophistication to the storytelling - such as Keito's sobbing confrontation with her first love rival, Keito's friendship with her childhood rival, the trials of acting, the way the foursome age and change over three years. I didn't even mind the kidnapping plot. While it was over-the-top, it was in the story to acknowledge people less fortunate than Keito.
All in all, Cat Street is well worth reading. Only 8 quick volumes leading to a very satisfying ending.

The story was well thought out, it was one of those animes which had everything planned from the beginning and almost or even every episode was story related. It could have had a bit more romance, but there was some there. It had a great ending in my opinon, everything was cleared up and it didn't just end like other animes it ended with a new adventure.
The animation was pretty good although I'm not really the one to comment on animations since I watch animations a lot.
The action was nice. Age, the main character was like super strong only 4 others stood a chance against
...
him yet his fights with those 4 others were great, they last up to hundereds of hours at most (in the anime of course).
The characters were good, the main character isn't one of those guys who has strength but always questions himself and has self doubt instead he just gives it his all. Princess Dhianeila is a nice character, you don't get to many animes where the main character falls for a girl like her, most go for the tsundere girl most the time. The supporting characters were all good, and I really liked how the pilot captain came to like the main character early on instead of trying to compete with him the whole time (those characters really annoy me, the ones who interfer with the main characters romance).
Overall it was a great anime, it's probably going to be a rewatch for me in the future, I really liked it the music wasn't bad either, I liked the song on the last episode. Give it a try.

I used to have doubts about smutty mangas. I thought it would be sappy love and lots of sex, but I've been constantly surprised by mangas like Hapi Mari, Emma, Kimi wa Pet, Mars and, now, Midnight Secretary. Yes, there's sex, but it's not the focus and it's actually very beautiful or very sad depending on the situation.
These stories are captivating, realistic (to a certain degree), and downright amazing. I really enjoy them. This one in particular was fun because it was "supernatural," but perhaps that made it a bit more sad. The fact that they're so different, that they come from different worlds and
...
there's a certain amount of effort to keep a distance is very disheartening. Even after they realize they're love there are still walls up.
But the heroine is amazing. A constant annoyance in manga is a weak character. Yes, women are sensitive, yes, we tend to cry about stupid things, but crying all the freaking time is unacceptable. I think Kaya was beautiful, strong-willed, professional, but still just a soft-hearted woman. Yes, she had her moments, but it's okay every once in a while. That's normal.
I also really liked Kyouhei. I'm really into successful businessmen in mangas, not really because I like their condescending attitude, but because when a guy puts you before his business, that's some sweet love. I also like how they could have anyone, but they chose someone average and not glamorous.
I also like family background in mangas and many mangas lack that. Family and friends, that's what makes you into the type of person you are so you can't just cut that out and focus just on a relationship. Whether it's trying to escape a family, look for your family, fit into your family, I love when it includes that. There's more to life than sex and your lover.
Love, passion, family, business, drama, that's life and when you have all those balanced in a manga, that's a good story.

My first thought of this manga was: "Oh, ecchi and harem. The main character must be weak and suck." And it was true during the early chapters.
But then, halfway through, I just cannot stop clicking on the "next" chapter because I am really curious on how things turn out. There's a lot of misunderstanding and tears, and sometimes I can't help but want to slap the girls, but the point is, all those annoying conflicts will help them to be a better person.
The plot is simple, right? Afterall, there are many manga about high school life, romance, chasing after dreams, and building a future with
...
a person you love. Still, within that simple plot, comes good story with good ending smile.
I always love a story with character growth, and GE: Good Ending absolutely has that element. Of course, I'm not interested with the ecchi part, and the story itself doesn't have that much fanservice on the latest chapters, thanks to my relief ,lol. Welp, some might realise on how the story is kinda rushed, but it's acceptable for me.
I love how the characters find their own "good endings" in the end of the story. Yuki is a strong girl at first, but as we continue on with the story, it turns out that she has a weak and lonely side. On contrary, Shou is a cheerful girl but even she can gets emotional and hate someone.
It was a normal manga to me. But then, it suddenly turns one of the mangas I like more. The epilogue wraps everything all. And I feel very satisfied and with a great smile.

Gosick for me was a truly beautiful anime, one that has been overlooked sadly and I loved it. The whole relationship between its main characters is what carries the show. The mystery element was the second element to carry it, along with the plot that was skimming underneath and becoming more prominent towards the end of the anime.
I related to both two characters easily and cared about them a lot. The struggles, the issues and how it all tied together at the end. The side characters were lacking in comparison, and only had one purpose/motive for being there but still, they were likable enough.
...
They might have been cut outs but they were not annoying that I wanted to pick up a lamp and smash myself over the head repeatedly.
It's one of those animes that was unique to me, and could incorporate the whole supernatural element without needing to go so far beyond the bullshit line that nothing makes sense. It was very realistic and relatable.

I have followed this story since the first chapter release and I'm glad I stuck with it.
There were moments when I got frustrated with the couple, but, in the end, I absolutely adore them. Their marriage was not founded on love, so don't look for it right off the back, but it's amazing watching as they fall in love with each other and then try to ignore their feelings.
They both understand the delicate situation their in so getting to see the "slip ups" have you screaming like a crazy. Love those moments.
Kazuma has a fun personality, but he's mature and puts Fumino's future before his
...
own feelings. And Fumino is a mature and strong character, but she's still a girl in love, so I'm actually a bit happy when she's irrational or a crybaby.
I also like of every other characters in story.
It was slow-paced, but you can see the development in the story and it was fun to watch these two fall in love. There were sad moments, there were fun moments and there were moments that just blossomed with that lovey-dovey feeling. It was a good read.

Well, to be honest, at first I thought I would like more of Bitter Virgin. This manga has a great premise that revolves around the serious issue of child rape. Despite its potential, the manga is superficial and needs lots of improvements.
The pacing is too fast. Characters have such dramatic and sudden changes in their views that this feels like a summary of a story instead of an actual story.
The story also glosses over the serious issues. Instead of focusing on all the possible fear, confusion, pity, and social expectations, the manga chooses to cop out and present Daisuke's inherent and unconditional acceptance of Hinako's
...
past. Even the other characters that find out about Hinako's past don't make a big deal of it and all of the social stigma is just swept under the rug.
Overall, the manga could be better. It's too bad, because the premise allows for a much more exciting and dynamic story than the one that the manga tells.

This series was funny, serious, and quite realistic in a lot of ways. I really enjoyed it. There were times where I found myself laughing out loud or talking to myself . I love the art work. There's something about it that's fits my tastes perfectly. The panels were really easy to read/follow. Sometimes I read mangas where the story gets confusing to follow in parts or the dialogue just doesn’t work for me. I didn’t have this problem with Hapi Mari. The plot flowed nicely and I enjoyed the dialogue because it felt very natural and realistic.
What I like most about this series is
...
that despite some of the obvious clichés here, the relationship between the main characters developes in a very believable manner. It seems natural and it pulls you in. The relationship is charming and that charm carries the story to the end.
The main characters were great - funny, insightful, cute, etc. I also liked a lot the ensemble cast and getting to know about the male lead's past. I think the mystery there could have been a bit stronger, but I was glad that it wasn't over the top. It didn’t take away from the story. I think my only issue is that our heroine’s father disappears for too much of the story. We don’t really get to know much about him except that he’s a bit of a trouble maker that means well.
Overall, if you’re looking for a mature romance manga, I’d definitely give this one a try. It was a lot of fun.

Some time ago, I've known about this title, and have always put it off because I felt it wasn't very interesting. When I found Unbalance x2, I was searching for a harem manga.
I've received a recommendation, and I decided to read this manhwa. I didn't regret this decision.
The story became more and more interesting as the male lead, Jin-ho, chases after his love interest, his teacher Hae-young.
He isn't indecisive like many other male leads in romance manga, he isn't a weak/timid male lead (like many shonen/seinen romance out there), he doesn't keep switching girls (like in another mangas of this genre).
In other words, I'm glad
...
I picked up this manhwa.
However, I only recommend this title to those that are looking for a strong die-heart romance title that takes thinking and patience. You won't get outrageous ecchi scenes like in To-Love-Ru, nor will you get consistent comedy.
You will either love or hate this manhwa.
For me, this is a 10/10.
