Alright, before we start this review, let me tell you some things. I am a gamer, I was recommended to watch this by a friend, and like most animes I watch, I viewed it all in one sitting. Now, onto the review.
This show is bad. I mean, really bad. I did not like this at all. Let's break it down.
---Art---
This is the best aspect of the show, as the colours are nice and pretty, very neon like. The animation is also pretty good.
---Sound---
Nothing memorable, really it is not special.
---Character---
These characters are annoying. Our protagonist's are two ingenious, super computer like, brother and sister. Sora's
...
design is male anime protagonist, and Shiro, who is a loli. Both of them are NEETs, and can perfectly predict everything you can do, so its impossible to win. Shiro is "smarter" than sora in more logical games, like chess. The other characters are just pretty much there for fan service.
---Story---
Ha, story. Without spoilers, it is ridiculous. Basically, two impossibly intellgent NEETs are sent to a world, where everything is decided by games. Of course, every game seems to come down to who ever cheats the best. I mean, really, whats the point of creating a world decided by games, when some of them have an inherent advantage. Anyways, so our perfect characters pretty much just do whatever they want and have everything go their way. What angers me a lot, is that they do not change in the slightest. At the beginning of the show, they are introverted teens with extreme intelligent, and at the end of the show, they are the same.
---Enjoyment---
I did not like it, to say the least. There's one part of the show, where they play a chess game, except the pieces can move in their own, with no regard to the rules. This irks me because chess is a logical game, and they are making it an extremely illogical. The protagonists never lose any game, which could have been a great story piece if they did, but of course, this anime wants to annoy me. The protagonists don't really gain anything either, which is perhaps, even more infuriating. And all the fan service, which is shoved in your face, literally referencing how they can keep fan service pg-13 by hiding nipples and stuff.
---Overall---
This show is asinine, and I have no idea why it is almost a 9 on MAL. I am a gamer, this show does not appeal to me, and the only thing good is the art.

This movie is quite, average, when compared to the other movies. I got this movie as a gift from a friend, and it isn't bad. The sound and visuals are standard, and the story, while not bad, is not anything special. The characters are the characters (except for Brock, who is always a blast.), so why is my enjoyment a 7/10 then? Well, to be honest, its because this movie was one of the reason's why Absol became one of my favourite pokemon, but of course this is subjective. I recommend seeing the better pokemon movies instead, and while I wouldn't say this movie is
...
awful, I would say it isn't the best.

If you haven't seen this, then you should.
I have this movie on VHS, and because recently we were getting rid of all our VHS tapes, I decided to give this one last viewing. I gotta say, it is pretty good. The story is pretty good, and without spoiling the 'tragic' part of the story, I can say that this nearly made me cry. Maybe its because pokemon is so nostalgic for me, being one of the few games I played heavily as a child, or maybe its because this is just plain good, but I think anyone can enjoy it. Of course, the ending
...
is predictable, as it is a kid's cartoon, however, it doesn't seem to take too much away. Overall, I'd say it is a great movie, and I definitely don't regret my decision to re-watch it.
So what're you waiting for? Go watch already, ya nerd.

This show should have a negative enjoyment perhaps a -10/10 would suffice.
Now to try to attempt to review this show without spoiling it. Which, honestly, isn't a big deal, but I'll try not to. First off, twelve episode series (not that bad) but four minutes in length for each episode. Not the worse thing until the realization that it is trying to be more serious and dark. Not only does it fail to set this mood, but instead I found myself grinning to the incestuous dialogue (like "parts of me were sliding down her throat"). The premise is not bad, heck I dare
...
say interesting, but with such poor execution, I could not take it seriously. Not to mention the cliche characters(the brother looks like every other male protagonist subtract black hair). All of this bundle together makes my enjoyment less than zero, because I really want to love it. As I said, an interesting premise, but the short episode length decimates any chance of setting it up properly.
The one good thing about Pupa is the art. I do enjoy the art style (hence the 7), it did a good job of taking my attention away from the horrible-everything-else. Alas, its not enough to save this show.
Overall, an interesting premise with poor execution. The art style is good (in my opinion), however the awkward dialogue along with the poor characters and very fast-paced story telling, makes me hate this show.
One final note: each episode is three minutes taking out the intro and outro, therefore the entire anime takes only half an hour to watch, so I still recommend you watching it. If not for enjoyment, then to see what makes an
anime bad.

This review is mainly in context of watching the original fullmetal alchemist, just keep that in mind.
This show is my favourite anime of them all (at least for now) and I love this so much more than the original, mainly because of the better ending, which I won't spoil because it is a treat. Anyways, this show is guaranteed to give you enjoyment, and you'll definitely rate this show highly compared to others (there's a reason why this show tops many top anime lists). The only thing is that I recommend watching the original fma before or after this mainly because of how
...
the story differs. The original fma is more of a story of character, like hughes who is given much more time in the original, while brotherhood is more of a story of plot. Another great feat of this show is how it cemented my taste in anime. I like more somber anime with more mature themes, and this show is the main reason why. Overall, this show is a definite recommendation and you will very likely fall in love with this anime.

THIS MAY CONTAIN A SPOILER, I SAY MAY BECAUSE I DON'T REVEAL THE STORY, HOWEVER MY CRITICISMS INVOLVE THE ARC OF THE STORY, SO I GUESS TAKE IT AS YOU MAY.
It sucks you can't give a negative number on the enjoyment scale, because I would... I would. First off, let me explain that I have no problems with you liking this show, I guess I can see why someone would like it, and I also urge you to form your own opinions on it by going and watching it yourself. That being said, let me tell you why I hate this show with a passion.
...
One person, Umaru. God, I hate her with all my heart, I was hoping that she would get some sort of comeuppance, but no. Umaru is a mary sue and everything goes her way, she never changes or develops really, and she always gets what she wants. I am not saying that she has to lose it all and become extremely depressed in order to make me enjoy it, but at least SOMETHING. I only continued watching this series out of respect for a friend, since I promised him I would watch it all. After the frst episode, I should of stopped. Other than Umaru's dreadful character, I guess I would give it a 4/10, the story isn't amazing and not to mention when not infuriating, it was boring. However, I know that many do like, so I can probably assume that I am the outlier here, so I would personally recommend that you don't spend precious time watching this, however, you should always give the first episode a try, just in case you do like it.

Hoo-boy where do I start with this gem? Well, before I even watched it, I knew that I would like it. The premise is amazing, a guy with an overpowered ability.
The show is an enjoyable ride throughout the entire series (currently 12 episodes), and every episode was filled with laughter. Not to mention the great animation, that create impactful scenes. I can't say too much without spoilers, but I can say the high octane (not to mention very brief) action, the comedy, and the characters are the reason why I give this anime my seal of approval and why I also recommend that
...
you go watch it right now. Remember: ONE PUNNNNCHHH!!!
