This review contains #Spoilers, so be warned.
To put it simply, I loved this show. It was very fun to watch.
Story: 7/10
Story-wise, it was a bit lacking, but that to be expected of a multi-season anime. Many things were left unanswered and the show could have gone to many directions. I think they should have built up the final fight with Rabou more. I mean thought Yato's main antagonist was Bishamon at first, but that whole situation was cut short. Then Nora came along, and Rabou appeared outta nowhere without proper buildup. Thus, I guess Nora is supposed to be the main antagonist and
...
she just used Rabou to make Yato revert back to his old ways? Still, I loved the emotional connections between the three main protagonists. I feel like it's a more of a character-driven show because the characters are actually the show's strongest point.
Characters: 9/10
As I mentioned, the main characters are the best thing about the show. Yato's a beautifully written character. He's such a complex and interesting guy. He is a scary god and a dork. He is caring and harsh. He is tortured and silly. He is vulnerable and strong. I just love his character! Yukine's character is also fascinating. Just like any teenager, he can annoy the hell outta you, but he's just a scared lonely child at the end of the day. As for Hiyori, she is best girl! She's the heart of the group and such a lovely dork. However, when it comes to antagonists, it's the show's weak point. Rabou was forgettable, Nora was unlikable and Bishamon can't even be considered a proper antagonist. I don't know who "father" that Nora was talking about is, but hopefully he'll be a worthy antagonist for Yato.
Sound: 10/10
The VAs have done such a phenomenal job on this show. Going from sadness to anger to happiness to silliness, it was all portrayed so beautifully. As for the music, the show probably has one of the greatest soundtracks out there.
Art: 9/10
I really liked the animation and art style. It's very interesting. I loved the animation of the fight scenes a lot, too! It has its weaker moments, though. Nonetheless, it was very good overall.
Enjoyment: 9/10
I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I'm looking forward to starting the second season very soon.

Berserk is a show I'd heard about quite a lot before deciding to watch it. I'd always seen people talk on the Internet how this show along with Cowboy Bebop are the greatest anime shows ever. However, I must disagree. I feel all the exaggerated praise and compliments are due to pure nostalgia. Growing up watching a certain show sometimes makes us biased in our judgement. As somebody who didn't watch the show growing up, I feel that I could judge it objectively and without linking it with good or nostalgic childhood memories. That being said, to each their own. Thus, what I'm about to
...
write is my opinion and others might disagree.
Story:
The story in the first three quarters of the show is nothing remarkable, per-se. It's the classic story of trying to find one's self and one's aims and goals in life. It's also about the lengths someone can go to to achieve their dreams. It's about war, fighting, brothers in arms, loyalty, friendship and love. I wouldn't say it's creative. It's something that has been told a thousand times. However, it's not bad either. The final quarter of the show turns the story upside down. It's quite shocking and confusing. I feel like the show could have set it up in a better way throughout the story. It was a lot to take in. The last five episodes were too quick while the first 10 episodes were too slow, so I think the pacing wasn't planned well. So many things have been left unanswered, and I assume that's because the story covers one arc from the manga. However, if you haven't read the manga, you'd be left utterly confused. I still like the last quarter quite a lot, though. It left me on the edge of my seat.
Art:
The animation is really bad. Compared to a show like Cowboy Bebop which came out around the same time, the art is horrible. For a show that was intended to be a timeless classic, they didn't invest enough time and energy to make it look better. The fight scenes are horrible even though they are a big part of the show. Most of the characters look dull or they look similar. It's kinda lazy.
Sound/Music:
Most of the Japanese voice actors are alright. Some voices are annoying, but it's manageable. However, I advise you not to watch the English version. The voices are dreadful and the acting is terrible. It's mostly people screaming over each other. As for the music, the OST is terrible. I really find the music bad and it doesn't suit the events of the show. I also think the songs of the opening and ending are probably the worst theme songs ever. I usually never skip an opening or an ending but I couldn't stand listening to either after the third episode.
Characters:
I think here many people might disagree with me. I've really found it hard to like most of the characters, especially two of the main characters; namely Guts and Casca. The one character that kept me hooked was Griffith. Guts is such a typical and dull strong guy that it was sometimes painful to watch him. He comes across as such a shallow character that has no depth at all in the first half of the show. I know that he's supposed to be lost and trying to find his own dream, but come on! Just make him a bit interesting. He's just the big strong guy that could defeat everyone. As for Casca, she's unbearable for most of the show. She's always screaming and upset over something. Her attitude and jealousy are so annoying. She only gets better when we learn more about her past and in the last quarter of the show. On the other hand, Griffith is probably one of the best characters in anime history. He's the definition of an anti-hero that you can't help but root for throughout most of the show. His character is so complected and it's the epitome of human nature. Sometimes you question your morals when you observe his actions and it makes you wonder whether he is a hero or a villain. Sometimes you feel like he's both.
*SPOILER ALERT*
(Honestly, I don't think Griffith is a bad guy. He hasn't forced anybody to fight for him. He's not a coward who hides behind others. He always fights hand in hand with his comrades. He saves them and even puts his life on the line for them. I mean he does questionable things to get to what he wants , like selling his body, but he doesn't stab his comrades in the back. I mean Guts killed a little kid for Griffith even though Griffith didn't force him to do it. I think Griffith's love for Guts was his Achilles' heel. He's the smartest character on the show, but Guts leaving him clouded his judgment. From that point on, the old and real Griffith died. Months of psychical and mental torture broke him, then seeing Guts and Casca together and in love while he was rotting in hell broke him even more. He also kept hearing his comrades pitying him. Plus, his destiny was never in his own hands. I feel like the old Griffith would never surrender to the monsters' will and sacrifice his friends. The real Griffith is not a coward. He was clearly manipulated. Even before he was shown the illusion of his young years and before he got manipulated to sacrifice his friends, he tried to save Guts when he fell off even though his body was weak and he could barely stand. Therefore, I think Femto is not the real Griffith and what he did to Casca is something Griffith would have never done. That's all."
*END OF SPOILER*
Enjoyment:
Overall, I enjoyed the show, especially the the second half. Some episodes were slow and a bit lacking, but mostly it was a good show.
Watching this show was such a roller coaster of emotions and reactions, but I don't regret watching it at all.

This is my first review ever. It's spoiler-free. It's also more useful for those who haven't read the manga because I haven't read it either.
Anyway, I just couldn't hold back my thoughts after watching episode 11. BNHA has outdone itself. It has definitely come a long way and step by step it has reinvented itself. At the beginning of season 3, I was a bit skeptical. I thought the storylines would be repetitive, but boy was I wrong. Even though throughout the first 5-6 episodes I got some flashbacks to both seasons 1 and 2, I felt that the repetitive elements weren't approached in
...
a boring and typical way. On the contrary, they were presented in a fresh and interesting way. Beyond episode 6, the show gets better and better then it reaches an unprecedented heights. I can't emphasizes enough how pleasantly surprised I am.
Story:
I think we've all known since the end of season 2 where the story was going. Even though some events could be predicted, the story and events are unfolding magnificently. You feel very invested and you feel closer to the characters. In the span of 11 episodes, I laughed out loud, I was shocked beyond words, I was terrified at some points and I truly wept at other points. For a show to draw so many emotions out of people is a great success.
Characters:
This season I felt more invested in some characters than before. The character development for some characters is simply great. At this point you can further understand the motives and actions of more characters. Even though some origin stories were somewhat cliche, you can totally understand why most characters are behaving in certain ways.
Enjoyment:
I haven't felt bored once while watching it. I was on the edge of my seat while watching most episodes. The season so far has been crazy, heartbreaking, groundbreaking and heartwarming. On top of that, the fight scenes got even better. All in all, it has been a hell of a journey so far.
I hope you find my review helpful.
