In this review, I am only going to focus solely on the anime and not the source material.
I think Boruto is a good anime, not outstanding. The main story resembles Naruto, nothing new. However, the way it was executed was quite interesting, it tells us the fate of Konoha, Boruto and Kawaki from the get-go which causes a high amount of anticipation. When the main story is adapted, it's adapted really well will the occasional anime onlys - the anime onlys (when accompanied by the main story) gives extra context. Studio Pierrot does this really well, 10/10.

if you are someone who doesn't like long filler arcs then you will probably hate this. Many of the filler arcs are good in my opinion, these are arcs that give more depth to the other characters like Mitsuki, Sarada, Team 5 and other background characters. Whilst others are just long and can be annoying. 7/10 An example of well-executed arcs are the Mitsuki Disappearance arc and the Time Slip Arc.
The art is good, nothing too special and the animation quality fluctuates from time to time like the Funato arc (boruto crying meme) but when it's good, it's good 7/10.
The OST is really cool, it kinda resembles Naruto and Shippuden in a way, and the anime wouldn't be what it is without the soundtrack - 10/10.
Overall, 7
Enjoyment is a 9.
