I can’t believe this wasn’t recommended yet. -Both giant animals that take care of a incapable young girl -Kuma Miko girl is school age while the other is a working young woman -Goofy antics -Frustrated larger animal but protective over their girl -Slice of life -Unrealistic yet hardly fantasy -Two main characters with little focus on anyone else -The bear can talk to the human, the cat can not but he has internal dialogue and goes on shopping trips

...then you might like Asobi Asobase add

-3 girls -Both about clubs that don’t really do much -One teacher involved in both clubs -Silly goofy antics -Both anime based mainly at the school buildings -Asobi Asobase has a much different approach to comedy and art style but but both are hilarious about teens letting their thoughts run wild while bonding.

-Both contain school clubs full of girls -Both have light hearted and emotion full scenes -Goofy antics and sweet characters from different grades -Based on girls having dreams to achieve something

Both anime about cute pets who go on adventures together and solve their own mysteries and problems all while returning back to their humans by the end of the day. The difference is the hamsters of hamtaro stay hamsters where as in Tama they are mostly pictured as human cat/dog forms in each other’s eyes while remaining normal cats and dogs to real humans
