Given the genre of isekai, this story is surprisingly not generic at all. Mc follows his given trait 'realist' fully till the end of the story as of current. Fluffs and puns comes every now and then that hits most of the time, pretty enjoyable read ngl.

What's really the catch of the story is how it keeps itself from falling into harem/comedy trash genre by always giving serious plot at the right time. Even though there wasn't much plot as of current to tell how emotionally triggering this story could become, I could tell that it has that potential by the current plot.

Side ... Characters are both generic and unique. Pretty ironic eh? Simply put, they are generic but they won't bore you a single bit. Could tell that the author is really writing an original work with little referencing. Cute, lovely, funny, is the catch of the traits of the characters in this story.

All in all, a well-rounded story with an mc that can actually come up with plans that logically work rather than those that only work because the writer writes it so. A rare kind, could easily recommend to pass time.

Really amazing anime. One of the only anime that managed to break out of that cringy, cheesy, egregiously animated romance anime trend. The show is self-exhibitory in the sense that it require no exaggeration in actions, emotions or monologue to bring out the characters' inner feelings. No lap pillows, no giant boobs, no busty features ...... yet everyone loves our plain lovely deity, holo. Background was featured eatured like many isekai genre, in medieval period but story was never illogical in the sense that normal human could suddenly resurrect, survive a fall from a cliff, humans were animated as realistic as possible. Villains ... in story were also portrayed humanely in the sense that none would be so out of mind to make a move without considering outcome, have their own personal cause for their actions and were never portrayed as an epitome of evil.
Character development is amazing needless to say. Plot twists and hidden meanings in dialogues are just amazing. First time I felt flattered by anime because I am treated like a mature, intelligent audience instead of one that is so hopeless that require extensive details from the plot that could potentially ruin the show.
