The CGI is bad for sure, but the plot is actually interesting. This show has one major redeeming factor and it's that the MC actually Kills the bad guys. Precious few anime these days have realistic interactions between good and evil. Evil characters need to die, or else they will come back and cause major issues. That's the only reason I'm continuing this show. The MC has reasonable reactions to situations as well. If this was well animated it could be a 7 or 8/10. But alas we are stuck with 5/10 due to budget issues.
If you like adventure anime then you might like this.
...
It's quite funny to see MC destroy everything with a couple spells.

Based off of Astro Boy, Pluto is a story about a killer AI/ robot that turns on it's own kind. I think the show is very over rated based on other reviews and it's rating. I find it hilarious people are comparing this to the great works of Monster and Death Note. Plutos plot is very predictable at every step, the animation and music are average. The art is basic but the frame rate is good. The action scenes were quite bad, most of which take places hidden in smoke/clouds and you actually see nothing. Throughout the series there was not a single good fight.
...
The "feels" missed me at every attempt. I'm sorry but I just can't vibe with feels scenes centered around robots/AI. They aren't real, they don't have souls and their feelings are programmed.... So should you feel something when one is destroyed? No. This causes a problem when trying to develop character attachment. Pluto was 8 hours long and I felt far less about their "deaths" then the 2 hours I knew human characters for in popular movies like Mugan Train or When the Promised Flower Blooms. Because of the flaws on every side of AI anime, I cannot give it higher than 6/10. I could understand giving this up to a 7/10 but any higher would be ludicrous unless you're an anime noob or obsessed with astro boy.
Anyways. it's more entertaining than you're average generic seasonal, but it's not great. Certainly not worthy of being in the top 100.

Ahh Strange Fake, the Holy Grail War, with a twist. 8/10 overall.
Going into this special, I'm not sure what I was expecting from A-1 Pictures given most of the Fate franchise has wow'd me from Ufotable's production team, but I am not disappointed.
We witness a unique twist in this grail war in that it does not initiate in the standard ways we have seen before... Also it leaves one to question, who is in charge, the Master or the Servants?
The animation was top tier, perhaps not ufotable level but great non the less, my only gripe in that department is the weird noses
...
they decided to go with on several characters, but yeah I know, the anime industry can't make up it's mind on how to draw/animate noses even in 2023.
Some of our headliner servants taking the stage (as shown in Characters & Voice Actors on this animes MAL page) include the King of all Hero's! None other than Gilgamesh! And his faithful green haired sidekick! Although this time around, I don't foresee their relationship to be exactly.... amicable. Gilgamesh never ceases to amaze me with his personality and kingliness. Many of the other servants have undisclosed true names in this special, but you can pretty much guess who they are if you are a real fate fan/play FGO/ read VNs. Regardless, I'm sure that info will be revealed in the next installation of this Grail War.
Plot wise, This is summing up to be definitely one of the most interesting Holy Grail Wars, especially in the sense of it can go any direction because the typical rules just don't seem to apply, at least not yet. I can also say that the pre-war build up in Strange Fake has been the most spicy in my opinion, but I won't spoil you with those details! This special ends right around the time this Holy Grail war starts, so it leaves viewers with most of the juicy content to look forward to later.
Anyways, I don't usually write long boring reviews with fancy words to woo you into watching anime, So I'll just end with this..
When you are listing your must watch Fate franchise paths, (FSN UBW/FZ/FGO/HF etc... you are going to include SF)

AH Danmachi, the overall above average dungeon fantasy with lusty women and magic.
Here in the latest season, we get some great animation with the plot taking on a rather dark turn. It mainly features survival at all costs. This season gave a lot of backstory into the Astrea Familia. The show seems to be shipping Bell and Ryu together quite intensely which will come to a surprise to Aiz fans.
Overall I'd say it was enjoyable, While we don't get much plot progression, we do get a pretty decent romantic struggle and some nice action scenes. This was def the most brutal of the seasons
...
so far, with an antagonist that really knows how to kill...
One thing I was a bit disappointed in is the lack of skills being used by the characters, Bell learned fire bolt in season 1 and it's still his go-to move... come on, he went from level 1-4 in the series thus far and he's still using beginner pokemon moves...
I'm giving it a 7/10 for being above average and one of the better anime from this season, but we need a time skip or something because watching everyone barely survive when they go into the dungeon is getting old.

As an avid anime fan, I was excited to dive into Blood Blockade Battlefront, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The plot was convoluted and confusing, with too many characters and subplots that never fully developed. The animation was lackluster, with choppy movements and uninspired designs. The voice acting was also subpar, with flat performances that failed to bring the characters to life.
The main character, Leonardo Watch, was particularly disappointing. He lacked depth and personality, making it difficult to care about his journey. The supporting cast was equally unremarkable, with forgettable personalities and uninteresting backstories.
The action scenes were the only redeeming quality of
...
the show, but even they were few and far between. The pacing was slow, with long stretches of exposition and dialogue that failed to hold my attention.
Overall, Blood Blockade Battlefront was a forgettable anime that failed to leave a lasting impression. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a compelling story or engaging characters. 3/10

Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond is a series that follows the adventures of a group of super-powered individuals who protect the city of Hellsalem's Lot from various supernatural threats. The series is a sequel to the original Blood Blockade Battlefront anime and features the same cast of characters.
The animation and art style of the series are visually stunning, with vibrant colors and detailed character designs. The action scenes are well choreographed and exciting to watch, with a good mix of hand-to-hand combat and supernatural powers.
However, the plot of the series can be confusing and disjointed at times, with several storylines and subplots that don't always
...
connect well. The pacing can also be slow at times, with some episodes feeling like filler.
The characters themselves are interesting and well-developed, with unique personalities and backstories. However, some characters receive more attention and development than others, leaving some feeling underutilized.
Overall, Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond is an average anime series that has its strengths and weaknesses. While the animation and characters are impressive, the plot can be convoluted and the pacing can drag at times. It's worth a watch for fans of the original series or those who enjoy supernatural action anime, but it may not be for everyone.

To Love Ru is a romantic comedy anime series that follows the story of Rito Yuki, a high school student who is in love with his classmate Haruna Sairenji. However, his life takes a drastic turn when a beautiful alien princess named Lala Satalin Deviluke suddenly appears in his bathtub and declares that she will marry him.... Every mans dream, right? or is it...
The first season of To Love Ru is a mixed bag, with some aspects that are enjoyable and others that are not so great. On the positive side, the show has a colorful and vibrant art style that is pleasing to the
...
eye. The character designs are also well-done, with each character having a unique and distinct appearance.
The humor in To Love Ru is also a highlight of the show. The series is full of slapstick comedy and absurd situations that are sure to make you laugh. The interactions between the characters are also entertaining, with each character having their own quirks and personalities that make them stand out.
However, the show does have its flaws. The plot is often disjointed and lacks focus, with many episodes feeling like filler. The fan service in the show can also be excessive at times, with many scenes feeling gratuitous and unnecessary... moreover this is a "you got what you came for" type of show after all.
Overall, the first season of To Love Ru is a decent anime that has its ups and downs. While it may not be for everyone, fans of romantic comedies and ecchi anime may find it enjoyable. If you're looking for a lighthearted and humorous anime to watch, To Love Ru may be worth checking out.

What a BANGER.
Sit back and relax in your gaming chair, grab a box of tissues and your favorite lube, and just enjoy this work of fiction.
I would definitely recommend you thrust right into this gem of a special after watching the series. We witness our heroine Roxanne in all of her voluptuous splendor savoring every ounce of her masters secret sauce. Sleeping on this incredible work of guilty pleasure fiction, would be an offense to the harem genre, therefore it's a must watch for the cultured.
In this special Roxanne can be seen gaining confidence, which helps develop her overall character and further the plot.
...
She chooses not to just idlily sit by and let her master use her as the sex slave she clearly is, but instead she is seen taking initiative. All I can say is wow, well done Roxanne.
I'm confident when you finish watching this gem, you'll be left with a satisfied feeling.... A feeling of completion, if you will, but also one of longing, longing to see how this epic plot is continued, and what becomes of our sexy minx and her amazing journey of sexual proclivities.
In short, I came, I saw, and I came again.

This series is entertaining mostly for the Comedy factor and less so for the fantasy / action elements.
We get to follow Cid, the main character, during his isekai journey as he lives the fantasy dream he has always imagined himself having, and he does it well. The action scenes are animated nicely but most of the fights are over in 5 seconds because Cid is so OP he just man handles everyone he fights or just plain toys with them.
One aspect I think they could have flushed out a lot more were Cid's "Shadows" or his "harem" if you will, his deadly personal
...
team of assassin girls. They are each pretty unique in their own right, but the anime doesn't give them much back story at all or let us know their reasons for joining the shadows. Cid pretty much has Alpha just go do her thing and Cid pulls the ol Aiz Oowl Gown "Ah, I see, That's what I had in mind". Which is fine but anyone who enjoys waifus I think can agree with me that they needed more screen time and backstory.
Comedy aspect is easily an 8/10, but plot I'd have to give 5/10 and animation 7/10. If the whole series was as good as the last episode it would be an easy 8/10 but I'm going to have to give it a 6/10 for the reasons mentioned above.
It's an entertaining watch, but it wont be for everyone. It's definitely worth checking out though!

Overall Score 3/10 (minor spoilers)
I am not pleased with the political direction the show continues to pursue, I understand the premise of this season is the destruction of the round table, but they didn't need more than half an episode to solidify it and move on to some actual plot worthy material.
I find myself falling asleep each episode more and more, and the most entertaining aspects of the show continue to dissipate.
The best romance in the (The Princess and Crusty), Gone due to Crusty's random and seemingly meaningless disappearance.
The best action of the show (Any battles) Non-existent. Not a battle to
...
be seen in 4 episodes.
The adventure aspect of the show - What adventure? No one has went anywhere lol.
This show turned from an above average strategy isekai to game-world politics with a painfully slow plot line. After 4 episodes essentially nothing has happened.
