My single issue with this manga and story is that there was never any question from the main character about whether they could even attempt to have multiple partners. Between the MC and the two girls they all had great chemistry and even liked each other to an extent until they discovered only one could be chosen, so jealousy finally reared its head.
I get polygamy is a rare occurrence even in real life, but damn imagine a world where your country forced you into an arranged marriage based on a series of evaluations throughout your life so you are destined to be with someone compatible
...
with the end goal of having kids to combat the declining birthrate. So what would the problem be of having multiple partners at once and ending up having more kids? The story goes into how if you turn away your government-issued partner you may have more trouble finding a job and be seen differently by your peers, but honestly, if you're already gonna go down the social outcast route might as well jump further and have two happy wives.
What bugs me even more about there being no slightest idea of polygamy is that there is govt. notices meant for same-sex relationships! You can't tell me the MC would never have the thought of "Well, what if we could all live happily together?".
We were also so close to the main character being not just in a poly relationship with the two main girls but also in a bi-relationship with his best friend, which I understand they both realized the MC couldn't reciprocate the same love at the time, but dammit the author could have gone another route where Nisaka and Misaka chose to be together in a fake ploy where all four of them could be together.
This manga was something I dropped early on about 8yrs ago, and decided to pick it up again. Times have changed in those years, and I still find this manga to be good with an interesting law and deep characters with hard choices. The art is good and the story is strong. I found the two endings to be a little confusing at first, but also I didn't like the cop-out of the author doing both. In the end, I wound up not liking either end and having two endings made me hate that all three (or four) of them couldn't be together with the resources at their disposal.

When Kotaro Lives Alone hits, it hits hard.
This simple slice of life of a kindergartener who lives alone in a small apartment. His daily life often involves neighbors within the other apartments. Underlying these short comedic moments and endearing times with the neighbors there are scenes of parental neglect, anxiety, and generational trauma folded in seamlessly. Everything depicted seems to have had careful research and honestly, it can be hard to watch even though only a cartoon. some instances very much hit close to home and I am glad to see more anime take on these subjects. I hope more people especially parents get to
...
watch this and not skip it just by how simple and child-like the show looks.

MushokuTensei is a different kind of isekai. There are some which only delve into the reincarnation for the first episode to throw the main character in the new world, but this one keeps circling back to the main character's flaws, memories, and experiences he had in his original life.
The art is great with flowing action scenes and beautiful magical stunts. No half-assed CGI to speak. The music and soundtrack fit the themes and pacing just right. I appreciate how this show can still be humorous without the need for wacky sound effects.
The characters on the other hand are lacking. The main character has
...
almost thrown away his past lifestyle and habits when reincarnated except for one... the worst one which is his perverted nature that I can find overly used and harsh. This man was a neet in his past life and I doubt he actually groped and handled women in his original life in such ways past the imaginary anime waifu in his game novels. The adult scenes in this show are fine they make sense, but at times when MC is involved thinking about or about to touch young women (kids at this point) you really have to step back and go jeez what the hell dude. The bathing scene with the friend was fine. He literally was being a kid and was totally oblivious but after it's excessive.
The other characters so far are well-rounded, have their faults and drives. The princess cousin of sorts is the only other character I have a problem with, but she is growing on me as she becomes less of a stuck-up snob and more of a blood-thirsty adventurer.
Overall, I hope the 2nd season is better than the first because this was great and I really get bored of nearly all isekais.

The best thing about this show: the OP song
The worst thing about this show: Everything else
Over the course of this 12 episode dumpster fire I was more interested in Momo, Kurimoto, Marie, and Alex, the blatant side characters with a little backstory, but seem to pique my curiosity more than the others.
I'll tell you I was rooting for Rui over Hina, but honestly, although Momo was thrown off to the side after the episode she was introduced I was rooting for her, in hope that this show would do more to tug at my who is best girl vote. Momo had some interesting takes
...
and history to her past relationships and honestly could have very much developed into something sweet and wholesome between Nutsack, the main character. As you can see we got the worst step-sister of the two.

A movie with the combined flavors of Pokemon 4ever and Disney's Animated Tarzan, where we follow a young boy raised by a mythical Pokemon who discovers he is uniquely able to help both humans and Pokemon. The plot is nothing astounding, we delve into Ash helping this wild child discover who he is while taking down a baddie who just wants the jungle's natural resources.
The visuals are okay, there were only a few scenes that wowed me and the ones that really detracted was when I could see the CGI game-looking models of Pokemon in the background. Sure there was some flashy camera angles
...
that for short bursts were cool, although hard to follow, this film has nothing truly groundbreaking.
When it comes to characters we have a rather generic forgettable cast. The biggest players in this film were Skowovet and Dada. The villain basically was 4evers villain with the motive and honestly not the strongest movie after the post I choose You movie reset of Pokemon. Partially wishing Pokemon would have some movies without Ash as although the titular main character he could of easily been removed in this movie, but alas we need him. That includes team Rocket whose only role in this film was to sort of snitch on the villian, meh. Overall, an enjoyable movie to watch, I bet kids who like Pokemon will also enjoy it. Don't expect to see any of the old-school dark themes or major villain roles here, it's all about family in this one!
(Also, dang Pokemon really dropping a slight remark about Ash's dad in there huh? That actually caught me off guard)

This review contains spoilers for episode 6 and 7, read at your own discretion.
Episode 6 had a lot of nail biting moment that had me hyped for the next scene and as my friend finished it and we began episode 7 I did not want to think of how this next episode could change that. I feel this season moving quickly to wrap up so many loose ends, but yet I realized there are still 9 episodes left. We have not even reached the half way mark!
I sat on the edge of seat, my whole body quivering, my legs bouncing up and down, my palms planted on my thighs
...
in a pathetic attempt to stop my moving legs, and my back arched so that my face be right in front of the monitor. These characters we bonded with for the first few episodes really made an impact on me. I know who I am rooting for in this show, but I cannot help but to feel a twang of pain and sadness as I see what I saw happen in season 1, but to a different town, to different adolescents.
There is a moment where we see a small glimpse of the photos on the steel wall of the mounted machine gun enclosure and the dread kicks in. Episode 6 tore us away from bright eyed youths, and now the slightly older role models were now being taken out by the people we cheered for and laughed at for years.
The small mention of Ymir later down the line dropped my cheerful and hyped demeanor when I realized what had happened to Ymir. I never thought about it too much until then. Dwelling on that single sentence delivery did not last long though until we were thrust back into the action of Eren and his big brain plays to crack the chrysalis of the war hammer titan. The shear fear in the jaws faces as he begs to not hurt his mates and in the start of episode 7 when we see how our troops from within the walls show no more fear for titans even ones with consciousness is incredible.
With so much to say I leave it off with the minor wondering of what is in store for Zeke, Levi, Armin, and the two young kids. At this time I hope they both some how gain powers of the titans. Whether usurping them from our own team, or given to them by their predecessors. This truly is an incredible finally and I do this season overall a 9, but it could easily become a 10.

These short clips expand upon the monster girls of MonMus including the agents. The animation and art is charming at times, but in some shorts, all you get is one frame of background with sound from afar.
While overall I rate the 30mins worth of clips as mediocre, I do appreciate giving us more details of the monsters, their traits, how they feel, and act. These shorts make the entire series more worthwhile and I personally enjoyed them, the clips give the girls more life, emotions, and charm that expand upon what the main series gave us. However, I wish they could have been incorporated
...
smoothly into the main series in some way.
