Both series revolve around the concept of time to fix things that were there from the start. Note that there is a dark tone within each messages unveiled from episode to episode that will shock you as if it was a rollercoaster.

As GX and Eva are the deconstruction, 5D's and Gurren Lagann are the reconstruction of their genres bringing back the sense and feeling of the tropes that are brought back together. Both start off light hearted but contrastingly they get darker. The Ark Cradle Arc resembles that of Gurren Lagann.

Despite the differences, the setting as comparing between the shows is in the city where humans fight with supernatural powers from supremacy. K deals mostly with clans whereas 5D's involves humans with signs that originated from their respective cards.

If you have seen either shows, you will notice something similar. Both installments are darker than their counterparts along with having similar elements. Yusei and Shirou start off with their daily lives only to realize that their destiny is leading them to something greater than they can imagine. They are later accompanied by powerful beings (Stardust Dragon and Saber) along with friends they trust (Ex. Jack, Rua, Ruca, Aki and Rin, Archer). For the most part despite the differences using weapons and cards, the concept of time is used in both series. What is interesting is that SPOILER ALERT: Kirei and Rex are similar as well as Zone and Archer.

Both Naruto Shippuden and Yugioh 5D's are dark installments that are about shonen protaganists who is powerful and ends up getting stronger to protect their friends they value the most while shouldering the fate of the world that is waiting for them. At the same time they have feuds regarding the past, family relations, and what awaits them.

Interestingly they are not to be judged based on the cover of the book as each episode unfolds its true meaning. The only difference is that Yugioh is intellectual and strategical whereas Madoka is psychological and mindblowing.

Yugioh GX and Trigun starts off with a light hearted and comedic fashion until at some point it gets serious and dreadful which almost makes you want to lose hope. I find Judai and Vash similar where they are very protective but at the same time must face harsh consequences to overcome their obstacles.

Yugioh GX can be described as Pokemon meets Magic meets Berserk to fans in general but as for Yugioh fans, more like Yugioh meets Berserk meets Evangelion. The dimension world arc is somehow similar to Berserk in a similar fashion where it gets dark and creepy along with people becoming sacrificed. Judai's relationship with his friends and co is a reminiscent of Guts and Griffith but in a shonen manner.

After watching K, the characters Shirou and Kuro totally reminded me of Allen and Kanda especially their personality & relationship. More importantly they are different shows but have powerful beings such as exorcists, clans, kings, and akumas. Come to think of it Neko might be Lenalee.

Fate Zero and Rahxephon have what's in common: -Both have reconstructed elements that were derived from the deconstruction of a certain series (UBW and Evangelion) -Stories that revolve around the war that pits between humans and fictional beings -surprising and unexpected deaths -have both a seemingly positive mood and a more importantly dark mood

Many people claim Madoka the deconstruction of a magical girls genre but in reality, in it's hidden message, it too is a reconstruction just like Rahxephon. Both dark series have a protagonist whose clouded background have something to do with the plot and surprisingly death tolls hit heavy that will destroy the viewer's positive mood. If you like Evangelion, why not try out Rahxephon?

Apart from Attack on Titan Evangelion comparison, I also find Rahxephon the true child of Evangelion as opposed to Attack On Titan being the mixture of it. Regardless AoT & Rahxephon are a story about the world that would later be invaded by Titans/Dolems with an opposing organization (Wall/Terra). Both Eren and Kamina hold the key to defeating them as well as solving the mysteries behind the creatures. To go into the characters, Eren is more of a brat/shonen character archetype while Kamina is more developed and positive. What stands out to me in both series is that Rahxephon is the reconstruction of Evangelion by combining the seriousness and the mecha aspect while Attack On Titan goes to a Decon-Recon switch with everyone dying in order to have everyone live on so that humanity can survive by sacrificing & more until they reach their goal.

Ever since I thought about how Rahxephon is to Evangelion in terms of reconstruction & deconstruction, I've been thinking the same thing for Valvrave and CG & GC. Both Valvrave and Rahxephon are reconstruction of their perspective series but the only difference is that: Rahxephon examines the dark and serious sensibilities of the series Valvrave fixes the mistakes of the heroes of Code Geass and Guilty Crown

Hunter X Hunter and Elfen Lied have whats in common: Both have innocent looking artwork that seems safe but when you take a close look behind it, it really isn't at all. Hunter X Hunter and Elfen Lied have amounts of gore and emotional moments that makes the show have one of the best aspects. Hunter X Hunter gets the same feeling and vibes with Elfen Lied when it reaches to the Chimera Ant Arc and the antagonist of that arc is like Lucy in terms of personality and character even though he takes action to a DBZ scale.

Both series have a foreboding, dark vibe to them. Though placed in very different worlds, the theme shared between them is a disturbing mystery shrouded from common knowledge. Elfen Lied is more bloody, but both provide action and intensity with an enticing story.

CG Akito like CG is mecha and tactics but takes the same approach as DN as they are both about dark stories that revolve around supernatural users who fight for their own cause. One aspect however catches me fascinating since Shin reminds me of so much of Teru Mikami and they have the same seiyuu. Death Note on the other hand is as good as CG while CG Akito is trying to be up there in the next 2 episodes which is potentially possible. Last of all the animation quality is superb and it enthralls you with every detail as possible to make the story good.

One of the Dark Signers members has a spider sign and that reminds me of the Spider Logo. HxH and 5ds have aspects: action, thrill, suspense, fast pace, and awesome moments that will catch your attention in each show. Characters desire to become stronger by overcoming obstacles in battles, tournaments, and other methods.

Both shows have people fighting Titans to free themselves from oppression. The only difference is that AoT is human and ZG is mechs. Main chars are different in terms of aspect.

CE 73 Stargazer takes elements from Berserk which were not present in other Gundam Shows making Stargazer distinguished due to violence, gore, suspense, and thrilled action.

Sven and Clare lost their parents to their hated enemy to vow revenge only to end up having a small change to their perspective by a secondary character. CE 73 Stargazer is a short series but it has what has common with Claymore: Fighting for an organization to exterminate species only to realize how messed up they are.

00 2nd season's duo Setsuna and Saji are just like Clare and Raki. Saji lost his sister and Raki lost his brother and uncle in the show only to lead them to team up with Setsuna and Clare who are stoic. Similar conclusions but action packed as well.

Yusei and Lelouch live in an ordinary life in areas that are under oppression (Satellite and Area 11) only to involve a bigger journey where they form their teams (Team 5Ds and Black Knights) to change the world. 5ds and CG have plot twists, thrilling moments, sad and depressing themes, action, and morality that will keep you on your toes in all times just like I have. Note that Aki looks just like Kallen! Rival is the same as well as their cast.

Yusei and Hei are silent protagonists who live a daily life fulfilling their duties with the aid of powerful allies but for the most part the story revolves a lot with their past in a similar setting only to lead to a conclusion which will lead them to a bigger journey.

JUNK WARRIOR! GUNDAM EXIA! 5Ds was made around the time 00 aired and you can see the obvious similarities in both shows. 00 is purely mature whereas 5ds is partly mature. Yusei and Setsuna are alike as well as their gang and rival. 5ds cast and CB fight to save the day to battle an ancient conspiracy organization who hide behind the scenes to take down the world.
