I started watching anime in 2020, and the feeling I had after finishing the first episode of Death Note is hard to put into words. After that, I was recommended a bunch of thriller and sci-fi anime, and I gave them a try. It really made me wonder how Japanese creators come up with such amazing ideas. My favorite genre is thriller—there’s nothing like the suspense of not knowing what surprise is coming next! On the other hand, I’m not as big a fan of Isekai, although I really enjoyed Rising of the Shield Hero and Konosuba.

U are thrown into the story where u keep getting shocked by plot twists even before u get to recover from the previous one! Whenever a mystery is revealed, a world is created. The ost is sick af.
Steins;Gate (only seaon 1)
Nothing can be compared to this slow (yet deep) burner. This story tells you how to develop a simple plot within a real-life city (Akiba).
Oregairu Series
I can never forget that one line: "I want something genuine!". A truly inspiring story that taught me about the complexity of life and society.
