Watched in an empty cinema with my dad in the middle of the afternoon on a school day half an hour before I had a meeting. Peak experience. I've already read the manga so I knew the story before going in, but it blew away all my expectations. It's only 58 minutes long, and at such a short runtime it manages to tell a satisfying and emotional story. The one shot by Tatsuki Fujimoto, the author of Chainsaw Man, is one which tells a beautiful story as well, however they both have their strong suits. This is going to be a short spoiler free review.
