Overall:
We see a world where Science is a foreign concept. And our protagonist is surrounded by Bureaucracy and Tradition instead of Logical thinking. So he uses his wealth of this knowledge to make his new life a bit less of a burden and sleep some more.
Story:
A Lazy but Brilliant Protagonist is in the wrong place at the (depending on your position) right or wrong time. And Lands himself in Officers Training School with little to No Choice in the matter. Going on to lead his companions to Victory. So Far...
Audio:
The Audio and Dialog in this ... series is one of the reasons it stood out while it Aired. And Funimation really nailed everyones voice as in matching them to their Japanese counterpart. Especially with our Protagonist voice.
Video:
For the Video I first notice in Episode 1 was how the Ladies in this show were dressed which stood out and accentuated their figure with out going full Fan-service. And that was appealing when watching a show that needs to be taken seriously at times.

A strong start but a weak finish Overall Disappointed. The story lead on to give you a sense of originality. Only to to leave the viewer with a typical revenge epic that could of been summed up in a few episodes. Instead the Audience is left with an empty and anti-climatic ending. More can be said for the Art work in this series than the story or characters.
For an overall score I am personally awarding this ... an 6/10.

Notes: As for sound the car chases and voice acting were very good but nothing outstanding enough to raise the overall quality for this anime.
