The show is quite bland, but the music is decent.
The main character does have one persistent fear that she is working against; becoming an evil queen, and this is brought up often enough to be believable in influencing her actions.
Yet her fears are completely unfounded. That fact was established in episode one, where she actively and irreversibly changed the "story." She even acknowledges that she is capable of doing so, and she continues doing so across the entire season. Yet despite all of this, for whatever reason, she still thinks she's going to end up being evil and dying for it.
