Both anime series have a very similar tone, musical score, and more pastel color scheme. Both anime also have a very similar feel and reproach to their genre and their wholesome humor and character driven moments. Each of these two titles also follow families dealing with the losses of those close to them and how they attempt to live life after loss. The main difference is in Amaama to Izanuma, it's a father and daughter. In Gakuen Babysitters, it's two brothers. Also each series has a different conflict on top of it's character and familial driven drama. One series deals with cooking while the other deals with taking care of a daycare club.
