Osananajimi wa Onnanoko ni Naare has a one-note premise, and it repeats the same joke for the entire story. It's not that it's really bad, but it lasts for a mere 40 chapters and, even then, overstays its novelty. It's an unimaginative story, through and through.
The most accurate review of this manga comes about the end of chapter 17. At the end of each chapter, a scene is redone with a different, self-referential joke. In this case, a boy is depicted as saying, "haha! Bullying and sexual harassment! Classic!" This is, in essence, the humour of the entire story, and it wears thin very quickly.

this manga failed to distract me from something I'm actually very good at ignoring: feminist concerns. Generally, I'm happy with, "live and let live". However, my first concern was that there was a man who was being forced to be a woman. Gender dysphoria instantly came to mind.
It's obvious none of the concerns of feminism are alive or well inside the mind of this manga's author. Trans concerns are just as inconsequential as bodily autonomy and sexual stereotypes.
Overall, the manga was boring and problematic. Nothing to write home about, no huge complaints. Just give it a pass, unless you have an hour or two you'd be happy wasting.
