To be honest, I watched Yuri!!! on Ice simply because I was intrigued by my friends' fascination with it, and seeing the screencaps they post contain some nice BL. But honestly, I was a little reluctant to actually watch it when I saw that it was about figure skating. It's not that I don't like figure skating, it's just that it wasn't too interesting for me. But the BL factor was what pushed me to still try it.

I have heard about 5 Centimeters Per Second years ago and the impression that I remembered was that it was supposed to make one cry. So before watching, I kind of expected to burst into tears after or during the film, however, it didn't happen. With this and many other little things, I was a tad disappointed.
