- This one is a lot lighter in tone compared to Berserk. - They're both based on medieval fantasy worlds, where Akatsuki no Yona is more focused on Eastern Asia. - There are people with god like powers and abilities - Su-won betrays Hak and Yona like Griffith betrays Guts and Casca by killing people precious to them in order for him to become king - The battle scenes are very well done and even though it's a shojo, it isn't afraid to be dark and bloody
